Why are we arguing over Brad Stevens in an Archie Miller Press Conference thread? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Hopefully that's OG thinking "hmm.. maybe I should stay another year..." (I definitely wouldn't blame him if he left to get his millions) Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Dana O'Neil is actually really good. One of ESPN's best in covering CBB imo. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

While Archie wouldn't be my first choice... I would be okay with it. He has potential to be to be a great hire... but if they had the option of Bennett or Archie... Bennett should be the choice considering how critical this hire is. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Flight is scheduled to come back to Bloomington 9 minutes after landing in Dayton. Almost has to be Archie. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

He made the Elite 8 last year. He's won the ACC twice at VIRGINIA. He's had a lot of success in the toughest conference at a school that has very little history of success. He had a down year this year and that was a 5-seed in the tournament. Is he Billy Donovan? No... nobody is. But out of the available coaches looking to make a move, he may be the best option available, and is a definite upgrade over Crean. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Sounds like if Donovan doesn't come to IU, it's not for lack of trying. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

At the very least... this is very entertaining and has made my Friday afternoon at work a little more enjoyable. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

I'd strongly recommend you take a look at both resumes and then tell me which one has won consistently. Mack has had 12+ losses 5 out of the last 6 years. Where Sean Miller has only lost 12 games (and more than 9) in 1 of the last 7 years. Given the choice between the 2, you take Sean Miller 10/10 times. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Yep. The Big East isn't what it once was. And right there with you on the regular season success. The more times you can be a top seed in the tournament... the better chance you have of breaking through in the tournament. I understand Miller hasn't been able to yet (I understand the knock) , but I think he has proven himself to be a good coach and an elite recruiter. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Yes.. especially next to Sean Miller's. Both at Xavier and Arizona. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

So everybody loves Chris Mack now? Ok then. His resume still doesn't inspire a ton of confidence. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

I still definitely want Sean Miller. Hell of a game by Xavier. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

I don't know if he would consider leaving... but I think Sean Miller would look real good on the IU sidelines. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

I don't know about the other guys, but I do know I've posted on various boards with Mile since 2010. I've never known him to blow smoke in the past. Those guys may or may not be full of it, I just know Mile has been a reputable poster over the past several years I've been on boards. (He said Donovan is a definite possibility, but nothing more than that.) Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Your CPU usage is at 70%, Billy Donovan has a 70% career win pct. Billy D confirmed. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
