For an entire new 12; coming off of only 10 practices, with one of our key guys (Ristic) only being with the team for about a week, makes me pretty optimistic for this year. I dont think we are a final 4 team or anything, but feel good about us in the 5-9 seed range in the tournament. I have way more confidence in the coaching staff than I have the last 2.

I unfortunately haven't been back to Wauwatosa since I graduated high school, so not sure how much alumni pull I would have. Looking at the staff, it looks like there are still a handful of names I recognize, including a PE teacher who coached the softball team. Ill put in a call. Do we think a $10 donation to the athletics department would be enough?

Juneau is part of the Milwaukee Public school district so that's why they play a bunch of other city teams, while Wauwatosa West is in it's own district and plays a bunch of other Suburbs around Milwaukee. When I went to Tosa West, I dont think we played a very tough schedule... we were also very mid when I was there. Crazy to see a high D1 player coming out of there.

This is a perfectly good non-con. A couple of top 20 opponents, a couple top 50 opponents, a few mid majors between 150-250, and a few 250+ teams. A great mix in my opinion.

Guys, this is all a moot point. Danny Hurley is going to take the newly open Spurs job, and then Mullins decommits and he takes the spot currently open for Leal. (I could see Brad Stevens jump back into coaching for the Spurs).

Leal would be a plus defender (probably best on the team), which some people are concerned about. I don't see a ton of playing time available for him, but he could play spot minutes when we have weaker defenders out there around him. (would rather have a depth big, but if DeVries doesn't see one he likes, then so be it) People not wanting a guy who shot 44% from three in B10 play last year is crazy to me. Goode off the bench is a great weapon to have.

It's part of it, but our average recruit ranking is still fairly high, it's 12th in the top 50, and that factors in several teams that only brought in 2 players. It's a very good class by recruiting rankings (not that means much, considering a guy like Carlisle was ranked 14th overall last year).
