You talking about the BTT starting on Tuesday instead of Wednesday and including every team now? -
Iowa St up 3 at half. This game is awesome. High level. High level games all week. Reminder on Saturday the top 4 ranked teams play each other. Arizona/Houston and Duke/Michigan

Reminder IU results don’t happen in a vacuum. Other teams around IU are going to move up or move down just like IU will. If they don’t find the wins in the regular season then they will still have the conference tourney to improve on the resume -

IU fans should be Wisky fans. Wisky is 33 in the NET. If they get to 30 then that becomes a Q1 win. The more Q1 wins the better -

Still have to see how other teams around the bubble do to know for sure but IU could get in with just 2 more wins but if they win 3 more games in the regular season then it’s a wrap they will be in with breathing room. -

Yeah. He said that people said they had to win out to get in. That would be 22-9 which. At-large teams usually need to be at least 4 games over .500. So winning out doesn’t have to happen for IU to get in they just need to be at-least 4 games over .500 with the wins -

If they go undefeated and lose to Akron in the conference tourney I think they leave them in and put them in the First 4. I think they lose at Umass this week -

Anything after Friday it seems they don’t factor it but if it’s before that then they take it into account. IU beat Michigan and Illinois in Woodys first year and needed both those games to get in. IU was second to last team in that year. If they wouldn’t have won those conference tourney games they would have been out. -

Definitely don’t have to win out. If won out they would be a 5 or 6 seed. Just need to be 4 games over .500 -
Iowa St/Houston. Let’s go

That Warren Nolan site is worse than this place now. He went the ads route and it’s hard to look at his stuff anymore. Too bad because his team sheets are the best
-
Looking back at how their schedule ended up what a ridiculously hard schedule to play especially without your home court advantage while on the road that should help but man that schedule was brutal in his final year. Only played 2 Q4 games all year
-
Watching a ton of college basketball and in 3 weeks will be taking his annual 2 week basketball vacation
-
Yep swept Iowa that year and they were top 7 in the NET
-
Definitely count but unlike IU, Iowa has 0 wins against the top of the B1G. IU has 2. IU is probably in better shape then Iowa as of today since they already of those quality Q1A wins in the bag. Iowa needs to start winning games against good teams (top of the bracket teams) something they haven’t done yet. Lucky for them the schedule sets up where they get those games at home.
-
Played that year with no fans in the building for home games so no home court advantage all year and they played the 4 hardest schedule overall that year as well. He still sucked as coach at IU but some perspective on that season needs to be added
-
They are closer to falling out of the bracket than you would think. Won 6 of 8 but 4 of the 6 were against non tourney teams. Barely won at home against USC. Probably should have lost that game except for a kid decided to foul Stirtz while he was trying to call timeout. There biggest win of the year is at IU which is a projected 9 seed. No top of the bracket wins. They have 4 games left against the top of the B1G teams. If they go 0-4 in those games with their terrible non con sos they are going to be in trouble. Some have them as a 9 seed as of today. They are far from safe making the tourney
-
Tang coached in his 4th year just like Woody did. They just fired him with 1 month left in the season to get a jump on the off season. Their reaction speed wouldn’t have landed Dusty either. They would have had to fired Tang at the end of his 3rd year in order for their reaction speed to land Dusty
-
Depending on how the rest of the BTT would have gone. If they make a run in that then you are looking at a better seed then 9 but it’s an incomplete season that we will never know what might have been
-
It was closer than you would think. Archie not beating Purdue gives the edge to Woody probably but we are comparing bad on bad. I’ve compared them before but the incomplete season where Archie’s team didn’t get a chance to finish the BTT and get a chance to compete in the NCAA which they earned to right to do makes the comparison an incomplete. Who knows what would happen. In his last year he had to coach in empty arenas. No home court advantage. He sucked as coach but it’s stinks it happened. Archie’s 4 years 1. No where near making it 2. 2nd team out 3. would of comfortably made it 4. No where near making it Woodys 4 years 1. 2nd to last team in 2. Comfortably in 3. No where near making it 4 2nd team out

Did you watch Eddie Jordan at Rutgers? Definitely worse in my opinion but yeah hiring a coach with 0 college basketball coaching experience was always going to end badly and for a proud program to have to back to back hires of Miller and Woody was definitely purgatory. Basically told the whole college basketball world they were not serious hiring Woody after the failure of the Miller tenure. Come only go up from here are at least you hope after the last 8 years
