Yeah--Hovadipo and 323SGrant---doesn't that say it all about the two fanbases?  We have over 6,200 views and over 230 replies on a thread about Juwan and Vandy has .........crickets!

BT Powerhouse now has an article up and they predict it will be IU for Morgan too (no inside information or sources quoted)!

FYI---The free interview article we are talking about is on the front page of "Inside the Hall".

Crystal ball was 70-30 Vandy yesterday.   It's 60-40 Vandy today.   I think you will keep seeing it edge our way as we get closer to Wednesday.   I agree with BTOWN--in his interview Juwan said academics are not the deciding factor because both schools are great. IF Vandy had any edge that was it.   Instead--he said player development is key--getting stronger and better to go to the NBA. That has Jackson, Crean and IU written all over it!   Looks like---IT'S INDIANA!

Free article and interview with him over on Scout-All Hoosiers sounds very positive!  He likes how we develop bigs and how everyone on campus knows the ball team and our offense, etc.   Yes---I look at other sites---but I only post here!   For once instead of everyone saying---He Gone!---I think everyone will soon be saying---He Ours!

Was hoping to wake up to news of a new Hoosier!   More I see---more I like this potential pick-up too!   May have to check out Vandy's message boards soon to see what they're hearing if anyone even posts over there about BBall in the off-season!

Good finds Hovadipo----I saw an interview of his high school coach and teammates talking about how much he improved from year to year and his goal to someday play in the NBA. Always like a good work ethic!

Sorry Napleshoosier for mixing Howard and Morgan on you! I am an IU grad from the fab 5 era and the Juwan I remember was Howard who played for UM. Slip of the tongue....I'll try to start saying Juwan instead!   On a side note--we beat the fab 5 every time we played them---was sweet!

Great post Stuhoo---chemistry and character are big factors too and he told one IU writer tonight that he liked interacting with our present team.    I also like that he likes playing inside--we need more bigs like that!   He also could help us with Shake.

Just checked his national rankings again---87/63/97/105   Just watched all youtube videos I could find including one titled "Juwan Morgan---Dunkaholic" by KU Kansas Shiver.   Just read all scouting reports I could find---plays mostly inside but range out to 3 point line--runs floor well--emerging as a defender who can block shots--good bounce and length.   A lot to like. I trust Crean and Martin on this one.  Sign him up!

I like that it's RoJo because RoJo should be around a little longer and get to play with Morgan!  I fear this comittment may mean the staff knows Troy is NBA likely for this year and they are looking for someone else to help in the front court.

Yeah--mdn82--I'm with you on this.  He is maybe the best ranked big we have a real shot at in 2015.  Although he's not my first choice--I like him and he has great potential.   It's funny how Crean can't win with our fanbase---if we get Morgan he won't be good enough. If we don't get him they will whine that Crean hasn't recruited enough quality back up bigs to have ready on the roster for when we miss on a top ranked big.   I trust Crean and Martin's eye on this one!
