University of No Classes did the same thing with Jalen Washington and got his commitment within days. I hate that any school has to do that to land a recruit but that's the way the game is played today. I can understand why some coaches have commented they intend to do the bulk of their future recruiting out of the transfer portal. In his morning game today at Peach Jam 6-foot-5 Class of 2022 combo-guard Jalen Hood-Schifino was a smooth operator in the mid-range this morning. He finished with 25 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists while shooting 8-of-19 from the field and 9-of-12 from the free-throw line.

Saturday Peach Jam commentary from Eric Bossi Brice Sensabaugh because he's really one of the most interesting prospects I've run across. If I didn't know better, I'd have guessed the three-star forward is a football player who also likes to hoop. He's got to be pushing 235 or 240 pounds at 6-foot-6 but he's bouncier than you would expect and plays with as much confidence as anybody as I've seen at Peach Jam. During a viewing earlier today, Sensabaugh went 0-10 from three but the way he came out firing tonight, you would have thought he went 10-10 in the previous game. Is he a three or a mismatch four? We'll see down the road but he's certainly a talented dude and has really been racking up the offers of late. [We watched his first game on Saturday] Ranked in the top 75 in 2023, Lawrent Rice played a versatile game from the guard spot scoring 13 points, handing out four assists and grabbing seven rebounds. Never too early. Blake Sisley's name made a pretty frequent appearance on btb a year or so ago and Trent is his younger brother. Listed as 6'7" and attends Heritage Hills HS. I suspect we'll be hearing a lot more about Trent in the future. Eric Bossi - All spring and summer, I’ve been surprised by the number of 2025 prospects that have been able to stand out playing up a year or two. The latest to really catch my eye was 6-foot-7 forward Trent Sisley of the Indy Heat’s 15U team. He’ll enter high school as a highly skilled combo forward who is a light’s out shooter from deep, good athlete and true competitor. He’s sure to cause a pretty big buzz among those who are able to drop in and spend some time watching the 15U division.

Well if it was Comer he put on a good show per Trent Markwith - Tayshawn Comer fought through some rough patches against PhenomU and was huge down the stretch in a great come-from-behind win. Scored 7 of Indy Heat’s last 9 points, finishing with 21 for the game. Strong, tough PG who never stops attacking and isn’t afraid of the moment.

Big loss for Indy Heat for the rest of the summer. Rabjohns - Indiana 2022 signee CJ Gunn suffered a broken left (non-shooting) wrist during play in the Peach Jam. He will be out 2-5 weeks. He fell on his left wrist when he was bumped on a drive and put out his hand to brace his fall. Although Peach Jam started on Tuesday, NCAA rules prohibited coaches from attending. Starting today and through Sunday, coaches are allowed so it will be interesting to see the reports on who we're watching not just at Peach Jam but also at the Adidas and UAA events.
