  1. Only 13 total fouls have been called which as thin as we are is a good thing.
  2. Midway thru the 3rd and our Hoosiers are putting out a really gutsy effort leading 38-34. Gulbe and Berger in double figures,
  3. For the limited playing time she's had for most of the season, Moore-McNeil making a solid contribution today with 7p 3r 1a.
  4. Halftime and we trail 32-27 as the last 2 min. of the quarter weren't our finest. Gulbe 12p 4r 2a and is our only player with 2 fouls Berger 6p 2a Browne 5p
  5. Midway thru the 2nd and tied at 23. Gulbe carrying us with 12 pts. and 2 assts. Patberg and Berger just 2-12 FG. Need them to get going offensively.
  6. After 1, Hoosiers trail 15-12. With 30 points missing from today's lineup, probably not that bad of opening quarter if we can just keep PUke within arm's length with our defense and hope we get some offensive production from Browne and Moore-McNeil.
  7. Per KenPom, three of Butler’s worst defensive games of the last 20 years have occurred in the past 30 days.
  8. Don't think he really had an option. Really early in my working career co-worker "resigned" and the official memo described it as he left in anticipation of future employment.
  9. Nicole also not available today in addition to Mackenzie being out. Reports are Nicole has entered the dreaded health and safety protocol. Cannot afford to get players in early foul trouble. Moore-McNeil will start in place of Cardano-Hillary. Browne starts in place of Holmes.
  10. Doesn't quite fit "the Butler way" does it?
  11. GDI win this game or walk back to Bloomington! Rant over. Nebraska (6-12) (0-7). Road game or not, if we can't win this game............! Jeff Levering and former Purdue wing Raphael Davis are on the call for Indiana vs Nebraska on Monday (BTN, 6 pm ET). Radio Live Stats
  12. Doesn't pertain to today's game but saw this earlier and wonder if there could be issues with MSU players being forced to sit out on Wednesday Michigan State Head Coach Suzy Merchant unavailable for both today’s matchup versus Northwestern and Wednesday’s matchup at Indiana. Merchant is on COVID-19 health and safety protocol, per a release from the program. Assistant coach Dean Lockwood is stepping up.
  13. Mount Vernon (9-5) crushed Trinity Prep (7-7) 93-59. Scott with 24p 10r
  14. That is Alaska in the picture isn't it?
  15. Those kinds of analyses are above my pay grade. I focus on trying to locate and report how our recruits/targets are performing from the stats point of view but I'm not the one to answer your question. I wish I could. If I see things in a game that really jump out at me, I'll comment, i.e, pointing out what I thought were several unforced TOs, but if I start venturing beyond that, I might as well be trying to talk you through brain surgery via a Zoom call with a shaky internet connection.
  16. Holy Innocents with a 50-46 win over Paideia. Wilson 17p 10r 6a 6b
  17. Point Guard Eyes @PointGuardEyes '24 @derikqueen1 was excellent in limited mins in the W for @MVABasketball. The 6'8" F is so patient and smart w/ the ball in his hands. Displayed that soft touch, high IQ, and a pretty left-handed jump hook in the lane. Finished w/ 10p on 4-5 shooting (2-2 FT). NOTE: Box score has him with 8 pts. on 3-4 FG and 2-2 FT.
  18. Point Guard Eyes @PointGuardEyes @IndianaMBB signee Jalen Hood-Schifino was in complete control of this game. He was a true maestro, ending w/ 11a to go w/ his 12p & 9r for @MVABasketball. Such an impressive skillset. He made his teammates' lives so easy. Very unselfish, makes the rt play, & plays w/ pace.
  19. Tonight Montverde took care of DeMatha 86-65. Kwame Evans 3 pts on 1-2 on 3s; 5 reb; 1 asst; 1 stl; 1 blk; 1 TO in 9 min. of play.

  21. Jalen with a triple double! Tonight Montverde took care of DeMatha 86-65 (Tyrell Ward and Rodney Rice sound familiar?) Jalen with 12 pts. on 5-10 FG; 1-3 on 3s; 1-2 FT; 11 reb; 13 assists; 4 stl; 0 blk; 4 TO in 30 min. of action. Kwame Evans 3 pts on 1-2 on 3s; 5 reb; 1 asst; 1 stl; 1 blk; 1 TO in 9 min. of play. 22. Last night Montverde ended Camden (NJ) 44-game winning streak 52-40. Montverde jumped out to a quick 22-4 1stQ lead and it was 32-18 at the half. But Camden dominated the 3rd Q and it was 38-27 to start the 4th. Camden's last loss was in Dec. 2019. Have yet to see any game stats.
