The 6-foot-4 grad transfer averaged 17.1 points and 5.1 rebounds per game this past season, while shooting over 41% from three. He will have one year of eligibility remaining. Others mentioned are 'Nova, O$U, Wake and Vandy.

Hodgson is a New York native who was an assistant for Nate Oats at both Buffalo and Alabama.
  7. Just realized this morning Washington has his own thread. There have been some posts about him in the'28 Recruiting thread but nothing of particular note so I haven't bothered to move them. Last night New Albany was beaten by Mount Vernon 77-69 in a 4A semistate game. Washington: 22p, 2r, 1a, 1s, 0b, 1t. 10. Pleasant surprise that our Hoosiers took game 2 of the weekend series 7-2 and will look for a sweep tomorrow at 1:00. Neubeck started and pitched 6 innings giving up 6 hits, 2 BB and charged with 2 MN runs. Vogel and Yarberry closed it out. We scored 5 in the 5th. Ricketts and Decker hit solo HR and Hanley hit a 3-run HR. We had 9 hits total with Landen Fry the only Hoosier to log more than a single hit.
  11. Hoosiers take game 2 of the series 10-2 in a run-shortened game. Kinda odd in that we scored 10 runs and only had 6 hits. But Alex Cooper had a grand slam, Madalyn Strader a solo shot and Avery Parker a 2-RBI triple. Ella Troutt started and pitched 4 scoreless innings but got in trouble in the 5th and Aubree Hooks came on and closed it out. Collectively they only allowed 5 hits and 1 BB. Go for the series sweep tomorrow at noon.

  17. This Vashon team wasn't exactly chopped liver. They won the last 6 state titles and this was Vashon's first loss in the final four since 1999. Vashon was 20-0 with 10 championships when making the final four since 2000.
  18. The IU women are pretty good. They spotted Maryland 4 runs and trailed 4-0 after 4 complete. Scored 4 of our own in the 5th to tie it up. Both teams scored a run in the 6th and then we added 3 in our 7th to win the series opener 8-5. In the 7th, Alex Cooper had a solo HR and Madalyn Strader had a 2-run shot.
