I heard Jerome was 6’8” but I can’t remember if it was from his coach during the season or what. I’ve been waiting for a group photo to see if that was true or not

One thing I really like about him is the fact that he follows his shot. He’s not flashy he just plays basketball.

I do think DeRon brings value to the roster. In a few cases like guarding Ward or Wesson we need a big who can hold his own. I may be wrong but I don’t recall MSU or OSU using those guys in the screen and roll action so I think David can carve out a specific roll without being drawn out to guard on the perimeter. I really like this rosters flexibility in guarding different lineups and it will be interesting to see how the staff manages minutes.

I really like this pick up. Archie is determined to never have another season like last year.

I’m super excited Romeo is coming up IU. If anything it shows that Archie and staff really know what the are doing. What a great day to be a Hoosier.

I do enjoy the IU sucks thread on RuppvRafters. They claim we are a has been but the fact that they even have a thread to try and put us down makes me believe they are nervous about what Archie can and is doing.

He can be a valuable rotation guy down the line with restricted minutes. Maybe a medical redshirt for this year. I wonder if it had been bothering him? It seemed like as the season went along he wasn’t moving near as well.

Is this going to be a scene like you would see in a movie? Guy runs out of the courthouse and yells “not guilty”. In this case guy runs out of the gym and yells “Indiana”. Crowd erupts.

I agree it could mean a redshirt for DeRon but even then I don’t think he can be a 25 minute a game guy for a season without injury. If you can pair him with size to split minutes that really helps. The roster you highlighted above would win a lot of games, and be great defensively.

Having Porter at the 5 would give Archie a tremendous amount of flexibility. It also means we can play DeRon in smaller spurts and hopefully keep him healthy.

Can you imagine Romeo telling everyone “this is my state” after winning a game for us.

I’m excited for some of the talent we have coming out of southern Indiana. Some really good high school basketball this past year.

I wish Victor could have went out with a Final FOUR. He is just a great ambassador for IU.

Romeo is going to Purdue but it will be in an IU uniform and they won’t like the experience.
