Yeah it looks like we'll end up with 21 recruits in this class plus maybe a grad transfer or two. Overall, the class is currently ranked 38th nationally based on 247 rankings. This will likely be the highest rated signing class in school history (at least since recruiting services became a thing). Just as a simple exercise, if you find a quarterback of similar rating as Jack Tuttle (who was a 4-star (0.9321 score) in last year's class) and add it to this class (I used 4-star Washington QB Commit Dylan Morris), the class ranking would jump from 38th to 33rd nationally.

Looks like the staff extended an offer to Tolliver, which likely means we probably won't receive a commitment from one of the other higher rated O-linemen we were after.

The one bad year was when their quarterback was suspended like twice during the season and eventually kicked off the team. Also, there was a big racism scandal at the school that year that eventually led to protests and issues in the locker room.

According to Matthew Weaver, DaQuon Green is transferring to Murray State. There was interest in IU but who knows what things may have looked like in the background.

As you point out, his first time as IU's OC was not very memorable and that is why I hoped Coach Allen would go with a different candidate. But I will hold judgement if Canada is indeed named offensive coordinator and just hope he has gained some good experience over the last 8-9 since he left Bloomington.

Has anyone heard anything about WR DaQuon Green? He announced he was transferring from Florida soon after they played their bowl game. He was a 4-star WR coming out of the same high school in Florida as Penix where they played together. I have seen some rumblings on twitter that he may be considering IU. Would definitely be another good addition to the team and lessen the blow of losing out (more than likely) on Bell.
