Had some time to reflect. I imagine this means Woodson will continue to consult with his friends for game plans and what not. The AC’s will focus on recruiting and general game scouting. I imagine this means a raise for Ya and Hunter while Brian gets a raise from his current position of course. Brian must be good people, especially being retained by Woodson last year in the first place. Never met the guy, but I’d always see him around on the golf cart giving recruits Zoom tours of campus.

Archie’s guy is now our AC. Have to keep the Archie bloodline around the program!

He's been in Bloomington since late 2017, which is absurd. I would love for him to come back but maybe it's time for him to hit the road and explore life a little bit at another school? His emotional senior day was intriguing. He would indeed be a major player for our team next year, but we're not winning a title next year. Maybe if a contending team shows interest behind the scenes, wink wink, then he'll opt for different pastures.

We'd be bottom of the Big Ten without the Portal last year. Johnson saved us.

And then lost by 30 when St. Mary’s started a 29-9 run after Mike Woodson took all our starters up when we were up 6 with 12 minutes in the first half. Classic!

Just another way of saying “I know more than you all but I probably still can’t / won’t share” Its not uncommon for coaching staff members to butt heads. Woodson wasn’t Dane’s guy, it was Scott’s. Disappointing for sure, he’ll get a job.

Fife wanted the Indiana job last spring. Dolson hired him which was a great idea, credit to him. Woodson didn't use Fife or perhaps any of his assistants for that matter? Fife is a respected B1G coach and D1 coach. I'm assuming Woodson didn't like Fife not being a yes man. He wasn't Woodson's guy which I do understand in the business it's all about having your "friends" on staff. I'm worried about Woodson's old school ways going forward but we'll see. He needs to flip this roster completely this summer.

If Woodson can't handle a non yes man and or not his best friends, then I don't think he's the right head coach to lead the program.

I'll only feel better if we have four to six players enter the portal, we need to clean house. Ya going to Louisville wouldn't be too surprising, minus the recruiting and player connections that could hurt. I wonder how Dolson felt about losing Dane? Just not a good look for the program when we lost a veteran B1G coach, and IU legend (in my eyes LOL).

Every D1 coach in america is recruiting the portal at the moment. The sooner they know who is on the way out, the better.

Well yeah, I'm just assuming our portal transfers are bleh. Maybe we land a fish, but I really like the idea of Johnson, Hood, Trey, Kopp, and Jordan. Small ball, more NBA friendly assuming we learn how to shoot this off-season. Experienced players as well minus Hood. I suppose Bates could start for Hood but I don't know if Bates comes back.

Small ball, less standing and maybe by a miracle these boys will learn to shoot.
