    Agreed. Back when he was hired I made the point that this would set the program back 5-7 years or so. We’ve gone backwards under Woodson.

    More than likely yes, it will be the mid majors or P5’s who are done. Lots of bench kids but there will still be some starters in there March 18th.

    The portal window opens up March 18th so Indiana will need to move fast to secure the top portal kids. There’s no particular rush for these kids to commit as they weigh their options (most money). But Dolson can’t sit around and wait until the end of March to make a move. I’m with Chris, we should know something by March 18th, end of day.

    Zach is connected to Dolson for sure. He has access to his contract as the media does through a release. The timing of the article is quite interesting given the regular season is still occurring.

    Media has turned on Woodson along with the fans. This is amazing and very good news. It’s a priority that the team loses out to increase the likelihood of a change.

    It makes sense to an extent, he’s not the only coach that has this thinking. Still, you have to recruit the high school kids. Portal kids want money and do boosters want to spend money with Woodson coaching them like it’s 2004?

    All his assistants will be out recruiting. When Woodson doesn't feel like it, Hulls will replace him or Calbert will. Woodson thought it would be easier because he was an NBA head coach and he knows NBA players, but it's much more than that. Especially now with NIL, the portal, and AAU basketball. Indiana needs a guy that understands the new landscape of college basketball.

    A vote of confidence after the season would be devestating to the future of the program. But I suppose the program has been dead for around 7-8 years. The last two NCAA appearances were not inspiring whatsoever.

    That’s funny because my friend told me he saw Brad Steven’s walking down Kirkwood yesterday. I’ll call my real estate agent friend tomorrow to see if they’ve heard anything.

    Im not impressed by beating the second worst team in a bad conference. That’s not enough to save your job. Woodson has failed to show any progress as a coach in 3 years. I have zero confidence he’ll be able to land great portal kids.
