Several days have passed and I still find it absolutely hilarious that Woodson couldn’t keep his top recruit.

College sports is changing, the portal will be just as important as high school recruiting. You’ll have to land both to be a great program. I personally know coaches that prioritize the portal just as much as H.S recruiting. Indiana has a great NIL, we know that. But the head coach isn’t good, kids know that. They can go to Kansas and play for a better coach and make just as much money. Woodson will land some portal kids this off-season, but it will be the leftovers the P4’s don’t want.

I think Cupps stays regardless of who the coach is. I see Trey, Malik, and Mack all transferring elsewhere. They can play at better programs for better coaches for just as much money.

Can confirm the women’s program is leaps and bounds better than the men’s program.

He’s going to go after all the big names in the portal while looking Malik and Trey and likely McKenzie. He’ll tell all the portal kids he knows Carmelo and knows the NBA, same old boring pitch. At the end of the day, Woodson can’t coach. It’s been proven in the NBA and now college level. He’s better off as an assistant coach in the NBA.

Maybe the news came out the other day that he’s staying but he’ll retire at the end of the year instead of being “fired”. The Liam news likely had him wake up from his afternoon nap. Armond Hill still doesn’t know that Liam isn’t coming as he’s still asleep.

Liam was an all in on Indiana. The constant tweets, social media posts. Then, his friends go elsewhere. Then he asks for his release from his commitment the day after Indiana leaked Woodson would be back. This is not good folks. This is a terrible look. I don’t see Woodson and staff recovering from this whatsoever. If I’m on the Indiana staff, I’m updating my resume and jumping ship as soon as the season is over.

So true. I’m glad Dolson’s news yesterday was so positive. It was so positive Indiana lost their biggest recruit in less than 24 hours. Great work Scott!

Don’t worry, he knows Carmelo Anthony. That will land all the major recruits LOL! Kids barely know who Carmelo Anthony is these days.
