Wisconsin has been playing a little better. Think someone noted they beat MSU a week ago. If they win tomorrow, I'll hop on the "we may have something here" train.

Yep, tomorrow is the first legit test. A road win at a place we're not so fond of.    If we blow them out, i can't even imagine this board. 

Why do we always play when my girls have practice... ugh.   Looks like i'll be missing another one boys. I said last game we would lose, and that didn't happen. I say we lose this one ;)

I mean if we play like we did vs Illinois and Ohio state every night, then yes. But I need to see us play at Wisconsin and a team like Iowa, Maryland before I start banner 6 party themes. We've been taking care of business, let's just hope our new and improved play is legit against top B1G teams!

Tommy boy said they are cutting practice times down.     -Players have to run 17's if they get a certain amount of turnovers.

At some point we have to get cold right? Regress for a little week or two right?    Could we perhaps get those week over with before the dance....?  :ninja:

Well i thought we would lose but it looks like we didnt.    Have we finally found what we're doing right? Even those these teams are pretty bad.. we are beating them badly...   I was going to make a thread earlier.. but i'll just say it in here. My passion for IU hoops is starting to come back... it's actually fun to watch our boys...    @Wisconsin will tell us a lot about our team. 

I'm nervous for this one, I think we lose. Hope I'm wrong boys! Won't be able to watch, Saturday Bloomington Basketball. You know the drill.

It is what it is. I've only had tickets to the Wisconsin game this year and I obviously went. Maybe if our rank gets higher, more kids will show up.

Like others have mentioned, IUBB doesn't have that spark anymore around the campus to my knowledge. Yes there are major basketball fans, but for the most part, it's nothing compared to when Cody. Vic. Hulls were here. And yeah, cold weather. It's a long walk and people don't want to do it. This is a younger crowd we are talking about.

Well i think this blows the big ten wide open.. maryland losing last night and now this...   EDIT: checked the maryland game last night and they won. why did ESPN tell me they lost last night.     this getting old (23) stuff is already hitting me i guess. 

    It is getting interesting. Northwestern this saturday will be interesting. A team worth a damn in our league. 

If we were #1, this would be different. It's cold here, Kilroys has great game day specials, along with Brothers. It's a long walk in the cold to assembly hall for most students.

I agree with this. I don't remember what my preseason thoughts were of this team. Probably the dance of course, but I'll be impressed if we can make it to the final 8. We have all the tools to make it deep, it just comes down to performing the way we are suppose to perform. I know some fans are saying we look like a final four team right now, ehhhh. Let's play some actual big ten teams first. Late Feb Early March is a crucial portion of the season that will tell us who we really are.

We have the easiest schedule in the B1G. If we continue to play at this level against actual B1G teams, then i'll be impressed. We tend to play good in January then let up right in time for the B1G tourney and of course the dance. 

Guess I'll try to watch the replay of the game!

Illinois are 325 in the nation at guarding the 3. Did I miss a game worth watching? I know Illinois is pretty terrible but did we really play that well?
