  1. Yes sir, he lived about 5 mins from me. Played for all 3 of my basketball teams, Kokomo, IU, then the Pacers.
  2. McRoberts man, it just gets old. You can't be out there and just refuse to shoot.
  3. The suspension is confirmed, but nothing about him leaving yet. He only tweeted something along the lines to "you got what you wished for" and then deleted it.
  4. Look at it this way, at least he's finally living up to his last name
  5. I assume he's referring to fan backlash on social media (which I don't support by the way)
  6. Yeah, he sure showed us....
  7. Lived about 5 minutes away from me, I delivered mail to his house on multiple occasions. My grandpa was friends with him, and my dad witnessed him shooting in his backyard in his mid-late 40's and he said he was still draining shots like they were nothing. To think that he accomplished all that he did without a 3 point line is unreal.
  8. The Splendid Splinter, a legend at all three levels of my basketball fandom, has passed. https://www.nba.com/pacers/news/statement-passing-jimmy-rayl
  9. There's so much to be concerned about, but the biggest thing to me. It looks like the team has quit. Doesn't look like there's any chemistry. No communication out there, no fight, nobody looks upset to be getting blasted every game. Just going through the motions. The offense is just everybody standing around, I mean what is the offense being run here? It's hard to pinpoint one specific thing that's changed the past month but this got ugly quick and it has the potential to get a whole lot worse if nothing changes.
  10. Seems like a very good hire. Upped the pay too, way to go out and get your guy.
  11. Chuck was a terrible head coach but he's a proven DC. I think he'll do a fantastic job for you Bears fans.
  12. Weird seeing a game on at 3 pm, it's the London game between NY (Vonleh) and the Wizards (Bryant).
  13. I'd noticed he wasn't playing so I assumed he was injured....again. Hate it for the kid, he had such a good start to his career. Hope it's not another Maurice Creek situation.
  14. Oh he's far from a complete product and to be honest in a normal situation he would still be a ways from seeing the floor. But this team....I mean no need to sugarcoat it at this point. The depth is almost non-existent. Davis just can't play physically, I feel bad for him but he can't move at all. McRoberts has been fighting injuries too and when you combine that with how afraid he is to even touch the ball on offense, it's hard to argue he should be on the floor over a shooter like Anderson. Then you have Fitzner, and I'm going to be nice about it, but even with Moore's faults he brings a lot more to the table than Fitzner. We're going to have guys playing that in all reality should still be developing in practice. That's just where we're at with the injuries/poor play. Yes Moore can get lost on D, but he can also block shots. You can't give him the ball and expect you to create, but he has good size/length that can give you second chance opportunities. He's a bit hesitant at times but he plays with energy.
  15. He's not as bad as Fitzner and that's all that needs to be said. Fitzner brings nothing to the table. Moore isn't a strong defender but he is a capable shot blocker and can affect shots with his length. He can also rebound. And doesn't kill you on offense. It's not even close. I don't care about practice anymore, at some point Archie just has to accept that Fitzner is doing nothing good for us and Moore is. I imagine Forrester is in the same boat as Moore.
  16. Watched the presser and Archie just doesn't sound like he likes Moore. Seems like it pains him to give him credit and he wishes he didn't have to play him. I don't get it. He gives you a lot more than Fitzner or even Davis at this point. He was probably our third most impactful player tonight outside of Juwan and Romeo (and probably Rob).
  17. You can't have McRoberts and Fitzner out there together. You can't.
  18. Good run, team finally looks awake
  19. I second this, Al needs a lot more shots and I'd prefer him to have the ball in his hands over Devonte in the halfcourt.
  20. That was on him, and while he's often a bit clueless he at least has the mobility and length to sometimes make up for it. Fitzner is clueless and doesn't have mobility, length, athleticism, or anything.
  21. Fitzner because he has other options that are outplaying him
