Anyone else see the humor in Larranaga citing NIL as a reason to “retire” when his final four team was purchased for him via NIL?
-
And they make terrible arguments that “the only two ranked teams IU has played have beat them” as if playing a top 25 team at home is the same as playing a featured game on the road against two top 5 teams.

I 2nd this -
I will add, we will be in a better spot next year as I’d guess we will be in the top 25 to start the year so able to climb quicker. I know they say the CFP committee isn’t influenced by ratings but they absolutely are.
-
ESPN needs to. They are worse than anyone with their shameless propaganda. The SEC has gamed the system for years in the media and coaches poll ranking teams way too high so every loss is a “good loss”.

I saw that we have seven portal visitors today. I think Hemby and the PSU backup qb are two. Does anyone have an idea who the others are? -
Very frustrating end to the year but we only lost two games, on the road, to top 10 teams. Very proud of our guys.

Tamar finally got over the hump!

This whole team just feels like guys who are just getting their paychecks. Basketball is a minor inconvenience that they have to put up with.

Does anyone think there would be a chance that Curry from CG be open to coming back if OSU fires Day? -
Only one way to find out but I see a talented Georgia real that is prone to making mistakes and turning the ball over. While we turn the ball better. No extra possession for them
-
I think I’d be ok if IU gets Georgia in the CFP. We can beat them
-
Any idea that gets Woodson out is a good one. Can’t worry about the team checking out because they never checked in to begin with. Every game he is on the sidelines is time wasted.
-
To try to give the appearance that things are fair and happen naturally
-
The truth is if things were fair the discussion we should be having is whether we are getting a home game or going on the road.

Setting up to screw IU. Quality losses only matter for the SEC, bad losses don’t hurt Notre Dame, and margin of victory only applies for Notre Dame and their trash schedule. Losing by 3 touchdowns to a potentially non bowl team carries the same weight as losing by less to the number 2 team in the nation on the road. Total clownshow

Memphis should have fouled
-
So in everyone’s opinion, after the lack of class by OSU and their ilk (typical, I know), is it counterproductive to root for Michigan and then Oregon? Not sure that Penn St and IU can jump OSU so would that in turn hurt our chances?
-
Can’t believe A&M ran that kind of motion on the last play
-
They love moving the goalposts and trying to set a narrative against IU. It’s always been “next week” with us dating back to the UCLA game. Now they are almost out of next weeks with only OSU and the worst team in college football between us and the playoffs. They are now trying to make this an elimination game for us when any bigger football school would get a pass for losing on the road to OSU. Funny thing is if we win OSU will still be “safely in” with a good loss while an IU loss will mean we got exposed.

I liked the “ illegal motion on the defensive line” call on a simple shift. To be fair each team had it called once but B1G refs gonna B1G ref

IUFB vs Michigan - Saturday, 11.09.24 @ 3:30 on CBS-TV

Michigan is likely the most talented team we’ve faced overall. Just lacking a qb and competent coach. -
Garbage. Sick of the “weak schedule” argument. Penn St and Ohio St have both spent more game time trailing MAC teams then we have with our entire schedule.

Good performance from the team. One thing I would add on the fan issue is the team deserves support but also the game day experience from IU is sorely lacking. Former season ticket holder until recently. This year I made it to the FIU game and parking was chaotic, concessions ran out of food by halftime, and the PA system was blaring music most of the game and completely eliminated the college atmosphere. That won’t stop me from getting back to another game but it does need a lot of work -
