    I’d love to see what Collin’s could do here with the ability to tap into more talent. He’s a solid coach that is able to exploit matchup advantages wherever available and knows the rigors of B1G play. All that aside, if we lose to MSU, does anyone thing that the two games against Minnesota and OSU, paired with two B1G tournament wins could keep us in the conversation?

    Random question for the board that I guess could fit here. Did we ever actually run the play Cig coined “Wizard” in a pregame interview? if so do we know what the play actually was?

    I think the NIL argument works both ways for a team and its fans. There is optimism that next year can be better but to be honest it makes bad times worse knowing the coach and these players are getting rich while putting this product out

    I hope you are right but I’d argue that their management of the basketball program has lost a lot of our fans. We’ve had two hires to fix it and nothing

    If we could have kept Woodson this year we could at least have a coaching search this offseason. As it is we are stuck with this basketball for another few years.

    I don’t expect change because ownership hasn’t proven they can make the right moves but the player management with injuries makes me think there is desperation behind the scenes. As far as QB options we should definitely be looking at Malik Willis who will be a free agent.

    At this point we need to accept that the nba is essentially the WWE. We are expecting the officials to call by the rules and say they are trash when they miss calls when in reality they are doing their job perfectly.

    I would like nothing more than to eat crow but I’m afraid we will be hearing about Brad Stevens again in four years.

    If that is true that makes the whole hiring worse because it would mean we didn’t entertain better coaches.

    I don’t get it. Would have been nice to get some good news after selection Sunday but here we are. It may all work out and I know we fans are just supposed to be supportive but just once it would be nice to be pleasantly surprised and not just accepting

    So disappointing…..Guess it’s on us for believing the hype that we could get a HR hire.

    But the committee twisted its values in a pretzel to get the teams they wanted in. There isn’t a compelling argument to be made that Xavier, UNc, and Texas were all ahead of us. If it was schedule then Texas is out. If it is quality wins Xavier and UNC are out

    Sorry but there is no way that UNC, Texas, and Xavier are all ahead of us. Their resumes are polar opposites with us in the middle of each metric
