Two Track Athletes Honored by Big Ten Dec. 16, 2015 Track and Field Junior Madison Stenger and freshman Markevious Roach were honored by being selected Big Ten Athletes of the Week, the conference announced on Wednesday. Madison was honored as the Co-Big Ten Track Athlete of the Week. She earned this distinction for her 3rd place finish in the 1,000m run. Her time of 2:49.71 is the 2nd best time in school history and the 2nd best time in the nation right now for collegiate runners. Markevious was crowned the Big Ten Track Athlete of the Week on the men's side. He set the school record in the 500m dash with a winning time of time of 1:02.88. Roach also currently holds the top time in the nation for this event.

http://www.iuhoosiers.com/news/2015/12/11/TRACK_1211151342.aspx   The first indoor track meet of the season is now in the books.  Coach Ron Helmer had said on Tuesday that he was interested in seeing how all of his young talent would perform under the pressure of a collegiate event.  Many of the freshman stepped up in a big way. Freshman Taylor Williams finished eighth in the 500m dash.  In the mile run freshman Haley Harris andKelsey Harris took second and fourth respectively.  The 4x400 relay team that consisted of Kendall Wiles, Sydney Anderson, freshman Riley Egbula, and Williams finished below the previous meet record with a third place finish and a time of 3:46.83. 

I'm a glass half full guy, maybe they win the title,and BS leaves the NBA behind. Make his triumphant return to his home state to coach the Hoosiers. A guy can dream,right?
