Correct. I guess I should say toughest SOS in the history of IU basketball. -

Yeah that looks pretty bad.. not really playing a ‘what’s worse’ game here. Just offering a different opinion. -

To be fair, brutal isn’t the word. It’s the toughest schedule in the history of Indiana Basketball. Are there any other ‘blue blood’ programs that have had as many coaching changes as IU? Maybe it’s time to move on, but the optics look horrible. Especially to local recruits. It’s more feasible that IU waits another year and gets 50% off. Guess we’ll see. -

People who praised the hire were calling for his head in year 2 and 3. I don’t like Archie. Hated the hire. Just saying the optics to outsiders don’t look good. Also I’d bet that IU waits another year for the 50% off sale. -

Isn’t it probably more feasible that IU waits until April 2022 before firing Miller to pay the 50% buyout? That being said, why would a coach like Stevens ever leave the NBA for a program that hasn’t won a championship in almost 35 years? Hell, they’ve only won 3 conference Championships in the last 20. A coach in a reasonably comfortable situation at a power 5 school would have to be crazy to come to IU. There is NO patience amongst the fan base or local media, despite being mediocre for most of the last few decades, and there is unbelievable pressure to win immediately. Pretty tough gig.. A guy like Dennis Gates or Dane Fife might be the best we can hope for. -
No team has ever won the ACC Tournament while playing on day 1.

(2021) G Luke Brown to Ball State

Looks like Blackford has a good chance to get to Semi-State. They won’t run into Bowman/Fort Wayne Blackhawk until then. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -
Wisconsin at IU Game Thread 03/07 12 PM ESPN
Baltimore Hoosier replied to Hoosier Guy's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Total collapse coming down the stretch.. IF this team makes the tournament, they aren’t going to beat anyone with these god awful scoring draughts. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -
Year in, year out, Wisconsin is in the mix. It seems like the recruiting strategy is based on basketball IQ and shooting. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

I get it. My bearishness about this squad can come across as negative. Working on that. -

The response was just strange to me. I was commenting on IU's resume. Endgame? I'm not sure what you mean. I think you provide good info. I just have more of a glass-is-half-empty outlook on this year's tournament hopes for IU. -

What’s that got to do with anything? Didn’t they also gain 1? On the road. I’m more concerned about IU’s resume. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

Just read that Purdue beating Iowa dropped them to NET 35, meaning IU loses a Quad 1 win. Ouch. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -
Hang on... What? You and the USPS guy spent the other night explaining to me why IU has absolutely nothing to worry about because they were nowhere close to the bubble line. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

I think MD has some of the same scoring issues that plague IU.. They go on scoring draughts, and if the other team is hitting, it’ll lead to a big defect. The difference is, they have shooters who can bring them back. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Has Duke played a game anywhere other than the east coast in the 1st or 2nd round in the last couple decades? Seems like they always have a home-ish game in the 1st/2nd round. I guess it helps when you’re consistently a top 4 seed. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

Right but also good news for IU. If they keep losing, they are going to need help. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
