Yes, and if this team was going to be the same team he's coaching next year, maybe I could get on board. This isn't a 12U AAU team where you can potentially coach the same core of players for a few years as they grow and mature -- this an NCAA team and you'll have players coming-and-going every year for better or worse. It's great to hear that Crean likes where this team is headed. It's just too bad that since they lost this afternoon, he'll never get to coach "this team" again. Where "this team" is headed is irrelevant. You can have a normal attrition of players in a high-major program without feeling like you start every single November in a "rebuilding" phase and I feel like that's the story of IUBB over the past couple of years.
