He got any brothers?
-
You know a lot of people go to college for 7 years....
-
Talent disparity could be caused by the style of the basketball. If you're a guy looking to make that leap to the NBA as soon as possible, you'd want to go to the a conference that allows to showcase those skills. The way the conference is called now, there are far more appealing options

And Micah McFadden somehow gets kicked out of the game

Happy to hear Geronimo is coming back - think he's set himself up for some major minutes. But one thing besides his ball handling that he needs to work on is moving onto the next play. His athleticism gives him the confidence to go after every offensive rebound, and rightfully so, but sometimes it's better to move onto the next play. He got called for an over the back a lot this year. Hard to work on that outside of game action, but he'll be needed for major minutes and it doesn't help us with him on the bench for picking up bad fouls 90 feet away from the basket. Not sure what thread this properly goes, just my observation thinking he'll be stepping into the starting lineup assuming Race and TJD leaving an opening spot for him

They've been close to a championship, which I'm sure is reason enough to cite that they are knocking on the door, but watching the other top teams play it's a noticeably different brand of basketball being played
-
Davison got a way with a knee nudge there. Didn't change much but definitely noticed that leg and knee getting underneath that Iowa State player before the turnaround
-
Honestly curious if a Michigan and/or Purdue run would make the powers at be resist that change. I have a feeling it would. Oddly enough the physical and tough conference play seems to be engrained in the marketing
-
Something oddly satisfying watching Davison cry and moan about not getting every call

Houston with only one guy above 6'10". Gives me some hope for IU if Woodson doesn't find a true replacement for TJD. They are strong across the lineup so not a 1 to 1 comparison, but man do they play hard -

Curbelo could have sat all 40 today and I don't think it changes the outcome. Houston is tough -

There's got to be some accountability for these bad calls in game. It's not easy no doubt to ref these games, but that was bad -

Jabari Smith and Banchero I’d expect would be ahead of him but think he’s certainly gotta be in the top 5? -

Nembhard interested in another year of college ball? We could use some of that shooting. Know there’s a lot of Gonzaga hate on this board, but I really wish we could get to that level on offense -
He's going to get picked, don't get me wrong, but I'm interested how much money this year of college basketball costs someone like Emoni Bates. Easily a top 5 pick I'd expect before the college year started, now, I'm not so sure

Hawkins had to have hated that timeout knowing he's about to get chewed out returning to his bench -
Ohio St and Loyola appear to be struggling with this ball. Fumbling it all over the place. Under 133 looking real nice thus far
-
Or hoping Woodson doesn’t bring in portal dudes who play 37 minutes
-
Woodson's loyalty to them because of their experience has been a detriment at times. Nights like tonight and Senior Night stand out. I hope Woodson can adapt and abandon that when it's not working. Probably going to have to fill out the roster with more talent so he's not forced to make hard choices as we have a lot of flaws with our guys
-
Calipari about to abandon any and all games played in the state of Indiana now, let alone in Bloomington. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy
-
Woodson in that in game interview said that's something he's been doing all year. It's a lose and go home tournament Woodson. This isn't the NBA, your bench 5 better be damn good to get away from your starters for that long and we're not nearly there yet. Likely doesn't change the outcome (W/L), but man was that a game changer. Has happened more than once this season too. I hope Woodson can abandon that thinking until we can get to the talent level where that can work
