It's really a no lose situation if we get Love. If Coach Woodson could make him play defense (one of the best if he's focused)more consistently and helps his offensive game a bit every guard will want to give IU a good look. 1. He helped JHS become a lottery pick and you saw a top 20 player developed correctly. 2.If X and Love further their game (I don't count Woodson's first season) it also shows that he can fix bad habits and utilize strengths.

This is true. He had so much natural talent but that was a problem with Coach Crean being a bad disciplinarian as well. Yogi wouldn’t get away with that with Woodson. Cupps is a grinder and a gym rat. I do think Cupps will be awesome but I think you’ll see sparks his freshman year. The fireworks will come his sophomore year.

The only reason Yogi was a role player in college was because he was on our best team since our last final four. H yogi has more natural talent than Cupps. However I think Cupps will be an awesome point guard simply because he’s going to get better coaching (Woodson is way better than Crean).

They ran effective plays. They just couldn’t hit shots. They should be proud. One hell of a team.

I'll say this about Caleb Love. When he focuses on defense, he's a beast. One of the best I've seen this year but the key is to make him do that more consistency.

I guess both parties are right . We do need another experienced point guard if we want to be a good tournament team. What if X gets injured again? I love Trey but he would get exposed quickly by an athletic scrappy point guard. You should have a good back up and it wouldn't be fair to Cupps to take that much work load. Yet at the same time Cupps does need 10-15 minutes a game to develop properly.

That kid from Towson looks impressive. Give him alllll the NIL money and let's call it a day (sarcasm).

Get all the fans and start a write up and calling campaign. I wonder if the fans of other big ten teams are tired of losing like us. To this day I just think that because all the big ten teams have high enrollment numbers they don't really care. the money just comes in regardless.

I’ve met Oladipo and had a few conversations with him to know, and I’ve been very detailed with Cupps because oddly enough he shares a lot of personality traits I had as a kid. I don’t deny the players passion for our club because I love DJ White (my top 5 favorite players. To me.) but dawg not sure. I didn’t really look into Yogi to make an opinion honestly.
