Bringing very good versatile talent to your team is very important. Rankings, although not an exact science as there are exceptions, are important. If you want to be avg., without NCAA Championships, then recruit like that school up North.

The West division is so weak!

There are plenty of kids that have more talent and are good character kids. You can't win much without talent. So many of them have played at IU it's difficult to remember all of them. I'll take a May, Buckner, Wittman, Thomas, Bailey, Alford, (Not the IA Alford), Cheaney, Reyn, Graham's, Henderson's, Zellers, D. J. White, A. J. Guyton, Jared Jeffries, Eric Anderson, Fife type of players anytime and add your role players to the team. There will be major losses to this team after this year. It would not even surprise me if Bryant also leaves.

Hope we can eventually get some really strong players in this class. Questionable at this point. Isn't microfracture surgery a big gamble?

Good. We need all the help we can get for IU Football! Even with Sud, I believe we lost to Bowling Green last year. That's got to stop.

Hopefully we'll know soon if every key member of the team is returning!

I was really pleasantly surprised by Hartman this year and it was great to see his 3pt shot back during the Wichita State game.

Looking forward to seeing what OG and Morgan can do at the Derby Classic on the Stream. Got a good look at RJ and Max last year. Hopefully they can earn some minutes this Fall and not leave prematurely like MH.

Yogi JBJ Troy Holt/Davis Bryant   I don't think CTC will have this starting lineup, because he seems to want to go small. Hopefully CTC can teach them how to play strong team defense for the upcoming season.

I really don't expect CTC to change based on what I have observed for the past 7 years and that may lead to his undoing. My question was rhetorical and I'm not sure if he will ever play three "bigs" together, for example. It appears that he prefers a three guard approach.   Additionally, I do believe Bryant would help, but everyone on the team has to play better team defense, otherwise Bryant would possibly be in foul trouble too often which would be a problem.

Well, I was hoping maybe CTC would change his system just a tad to accommodate EH's strengths. Possibly wishful thinking on my part!

That's a good lineup when you add TB with the others. Wonder if Holt can develop some sort of mid-range jumpshot and more strength. If so, I would consider starting him over HP at the 4. EH seems to have a better feel for the game.
