HoosierCoop got a reaction from Stuhoo in Blackmon Thread
JBJ is an outstanding basketball player and I am glad that he is in the stripes.
Here are a couple of reality points that might have contributed to the 2nd half of the season:
1. He had a hard time adjusting to the speed and size of college ball.
2. He realized in December that he wasn't a one-and-done.
3. He has a lot to work on in his game (especially defense).
4. He wasn't going to be the B1G Freshman of the Year.
JBJ is used to being on top. Maybe these points have something to do with it. Transferring is not the answer! Being mature and working on the things that will make you great will get you back on top. Realize that this is a team game. Style points and highlight reels won't win games.
You will be fine next year!

HoosierCoop got a reaction from ALASKA HOOSIER in (2015) C Thomas Bryant to IU
It sounds like he is trying reaaaalllly hard to convince himself that IU doesn't make sense.
Quit hoping that something better will pop up! Go to IU, put your time in, and bring the program up damnit! ...and bring that Maker kid with you while you are at it!!!!!

HoosierCoop reacted to IU Hoosier41 in April Fools Ban?
Mods and admins have actually already discussed this. We will have one thread for whatever crap people want to post. Any other threads created will be a Zero Tolerance 24 hour suspension.
The day sucks anyway, with all we got going on it could be horrible. We won't let that happen.

I hope that our guys are focused and locked in.
With all this coaching rumors and B.S. could put a dent in their mindset.
I remember the last time we had coaching issues going into the tournament. Dan Dakich at the interim helm.
Hopefully we play with resolve and not remorse.

I am a high school teacher and Friday is the last day of school before spring break. Kids will be watching a video, I will be watching the Hoosiers on my laptop.

This is OT: What happened to the Illini? I hate them about as much as anyone in the B1G, but what a piss poor end of the season. I wonder if the savior Groce is starting to get a warm backside. It was like they just stopped playing the last few weeks.

I actually went to Norwell. There are a few regulars on here that attended Bellmont.
That might have been during the dark years at Norwell. We had a coach that played stall ball that really brought that program down. Luckily we had enough sense to S***can him.
It was sad to see Elmhurst close. I drive past that school once in a while and shake my head.

uhh...I hated him too...but not because anything to do with UK...I loved him for beating them...
no..
I hate him and that team and the refs for royally screwing over IU in 1992 in the Final Four...
do y'all realize that IU had 4 or 5 starters foul out in that game?
most rediculously called game in the history of college basketball...
I will always hold a place in Dante's inferno...in the deepest of pits for Laettner and that team...
