MM really f’d us this game.

I love how Nebraska always plays their best game of the year against us.

Agreed with the NIT. With that being said, If it is a bigger play-in scope, It would be great to have more regional games that the proximity would let others attend. Fort Wayne, etc.

First and foremost, if we continue to play defense like we have, we are dead in the water. Hopefully that tightens up tonight and we give them fits.

This is probably one of the first games that I was really pleased with Ballo's play. His FT shooting impressed me tonight. You can tell he has focused on technique and repetition. Teams that want to hack-a-shaq will pay the price if he keeps that percentage high. I thought his all around game was good. Rice and Galloway are in a funk for some reason.

I would like to see it happen once though. I feel like it would open him up a little bit.

There is a lot of questions in the posts above. Here's my personal opinion: MM was on some preseason award watches and came out hot. Because of that, I feel he needs to keep his PPG up so he is forcing too much in his game. He is not athletic enough to generate his own offense. MM is also not doing those little cuts to the basket that we saw earlier as well. Rice is not getting the assists like he used to because the offense stalls. i.e.MM, Reneau, etc. settling for one-on-one ball. Rice would excel in a dibble drive offense. No one is engaged on defense. It's a poop show. With the exception of Reneau, no one is athletic enough to take their man solo on offense. Ballo is not a good passer period. Reneau should be the one receiving at the key. Whooziers said it best, "Fun, da, men, tals" If these coaches could get a smidge of chemistry built with these guys they might win a few games. If not, we'll have a lot of discussion in the spring.

They have some really good bars in Oxford. Back in my college days, It was always a good destination to go and visit my pals.

All of this has rolled me into a huge ball of emotion. I am excited to know that there is an option out there for us that could be a huge uplift for this program. I am anxious because if we don't move on him this year, I fear that we will lose a huge opportunity. I am disheartened to know that we have to sit through another grinder season to get to this point. I am frustrated to see how the pre-season hype has panned out to a season full of apprehension. Please somebody tell me how to feel!!! Lol!

Ok, so let's say for gits and shiggles that IU goes 0-6 to open the B1G season. Is that the "enough is enough" that it will take? A home loss to Minnesota and a thrashing by Nebraska maybe? I am looking at the first six games and there is no faith based on what has been shown that this team is a top or mid level conference team. It pains me to watch other B1G teams play hard.

There is no trust in this team.
