Haven't been to their boards, but I've seen Tweets where OKC fans aren't happy with Billy, not sure why though.

They probably mean the usual suspects, Marshall, Miller, Bennett, etc.

OKC's season will be over by late April, or early May. If you can get Billy Donovan, then you can wait until then for him. You don't settle for a lesser coach because you dont want to wait a couple weeks.

They have to be offered the job first in order to accept it. If Billy Donovan is in waiting, Fred won't be offering the job to anyone else. Still have to conduct interviews though in case Billy doesn't happen.

On ESPN this morning, but he wasn't mentioned as the lead candidate. Also, Dakich and Kravitz have mentioned Donovan.

And apparently there are some national media people that are beginning to include Billy Donovan in the list of potential candidates, that may not be a coincidence.

Many on the 247 board have been skeptical of him, but he hasn't wavered, and now 0708 and mile are hearing similar things about IU and Donovan, so he may be legit, I hope so. However, if he's wrong, and we get Marshall or Archie, I'd be okay.

0708 is beginning to hear some of the same stuff BtownInsider has been reporting about Billy Donovan, and he's getting giddy, it may actually be happening.

To me you go for the proven winner, the fit can get tossed out the window for all I care, trying to get the fit will hamstring the coaching search. Winners needed in order to change the mediocrity we've become.
