The one positive that I can see from Alford coaching IU would be that he can mend relations with Indiana high school and AAU coaches, which will help with recruiting...Other than that I got nothing.

Assuming 0708 and the Janitors sources are legit, there is conflicting info, which is right, and whose is a smokescreen? Billy Donovan or mystery candidate out West?

For craps and giggles I checked out the old Scout board which is now Peegs, and they have their own Fire Tom Crean thread...however theirs only has 16 replies...total. Lol, they have a lot catching up to do.

My feeling has been it's going to be Chris Collins, or Gregg Marshall. I'd love to have Billy Donovan, but I don't want to get my hopes up.

Still shooting to get this thread to 1000 pages.
