Actually someone on the radio yesterday said that Donovan and UCLA would be the perfect fit. I think they assumed Alford was heading to IU.

Obviously I would love to have these Donovan to IU rumors be true, as he'd be a great coach for our Hoosiers, but I can't help escape the reality that all the pro-Donovan talk is coming from mysterious unconfirmed sources on IU message boards. All of the public discussion is spinning towards Alford, and that bothers me, because I tend to believe the national people, and the local media, are actually hearing this Alford to IU stuff. I want Donovan, but I'm expecting it to be Alford. Just my opinion.

Yeah, despite all the insiders and unnamed sources talking up Billy Donovan to IU, I'm preparing myself to be disappointed. Although I felt the same way about if Glass would actually fire Crean...so there's that.

Unbelievable all these rumors coming out of nowhere from unknown sources on these message boards, and yet the media isn't picking up any of it. Maybe we are all just wishful thinking. Hope they actually turn out to be true though, I don't want to be a settler.
