I can see this as well. There's just so much information out there that isn't verifiable.

Remove Alford and put Marshall in his spot, with Collins/holtman tied for 7th and that's my list.

We're all in the dark so to speak. That comes with emotional highs and lows based on the days information. Just trying to bring info to the board from all sources available.

Check out pat forde's most recent article about coaches staying/leaving. I would link it but idk how. In there, a relevant snippet on Crean says Crean will leave "if he wishes". That is extremely alarming to me. Makes me think Glass really doesn't want to get rid of him

This is my biggest fear. This next hire, or lackthereof, is critical to IU's elite status moving forward. If we mess it up or retain Crean the damage will be irreversible imo.

He should have 0 job security and 0 leverage when it comes to this situation. If he does, Glass can go too.

Doyel, wow. What a trash article. I know quite a few people (I'm one of them) who are losing their passion for IU and if Crean is back, that passion will pretty much be gone.

I wouldn't call him terrible, but I don't think he's as great as some make him out to be either. His coaching hires have been questionable at best

Agreed, but those guys I mentioned have track records of being consistently right. At the end of the day, as long as Crean is gone I'll be happy

The sad thing to me is the insiders like 0708 and Hickory have both said that if/when this happens, it will be because Crean is the one wanting to get out and making moves. Not Glass or the administration. That is terribly alarming to me. Gives me 0 faith that they will go out and get that homerun hire if they weren't the ones being proactive about replacing him

Interesting..Marshall hasn't been mentioned by any of the insiders. Looks like that was the flight we were looking at too. Would Glass have any other reason to spend that much money other than to see Marshall? The plot is getting thicker
