The focus has been on Stevens and that is a decision Dolson made. It might work out great, i hope it does. I just see no way a guy like Pearl comes here and doesn’t have us competing at the top of the bigten and cbb. I just want to win and think there are guys that are no brainers that are hot and have been hot when it comes to CBB that we should be prioritizing. Stevens was that guy for me 12 years ago.

You didn’t, there are plenty of people that don’t have Stevens at the top of their list. It’s ok to:) and don’t spin it to “wouldn’t like”. I’ve been clear that I don’t have Stevens high on my list. If he is going to be the coach I would like to see a veteran staff around him that has been in the college game, the current game and landscape. it’s not an agenda. I want to win and I think there are safer options out there to achieve that. I think he is a gamble and we don’t need to gamble. Adding people like Cody is gambling even more given he has zero experience coaching or as a GM.

We’re going to hire a guy to be our head coach that hasn’t coached in college basketball in 12 years and we are going to surround him with people that have never coached or been GM ever? I love Zeller the player but trying to wrap my head around how this makes sense. And this would be news to someone he is extremely close to

I appreciate ya. While I don’t want Turgeon for example, if we missed out on May, Stevens, Otz etc and we proactively eliminate Beard, Pearl etc, people need to be open. i have little faith in Dolson but would applaud a great hire if he can do it.

That’s not at all what you have been posting. You claimed he was coming and gave dates in which it would come out and even said you knew who the assistants were. You either know those things or you don’t and if you know those details that nobody else knows then that is an insider. If you believe what you yourself have been posting then you have nothing to lose. are you backtracking on all the details you have posted previously?

He either is coming or he isn’t. You’ve proclaimed to be an insider and said he is coming and that the assistants were already chosen. since you know all of that as fact then you get Steven’s and I get the field. You have the advantage because you already know it’s done and all the details as you’ve proclaimed. its not up to me on what mod. I don’t know if SS is correct or not but I’ve always wondered about his daughter and how awful the timing would be for her. I believe she is a junior in high school, that’s a rough time to pack up and move across the country. Likely worse timing than it was 4 years ago
