41 here. 42 in July. I remember the mid 80's teams. Man, fun times. I've watched damn near every game for as long as I've been alive. I hate to see players with talent not get used/motivated properly. It used to mean something to play FOR Indiana, not AT Indiana. I also as most of you know, graduated from Indiana State. I've seen the same thing there in regards to players. Guys that beat some of the those Knight coached teams. Played with fire and passion. Man, that 92-93 team was the best in the world until Henderson went down. Probably my all-time favorite team. Just fun to watch those old games.

The pick/screen thing. Goodness. Somebody show these kids a highlight video of the Davis boys (Dale and Antonio) setting screens. They'd knock people silly to free up Reggie. I've not seen a good, solid screen in a long time. Maybe back to the Pritchard days. He'd screen people. Hard. Heck, I'd take Pritch back over TB at this point.

Not sure how much of this one I'll get to see either. Installation of officers at the Shrine in Terre Haute. I know we have TV's and beer, just not sure the times. Hope they play better than they have the last 2. I agree with what the team keeps saying in that they likely won't shoot that poor again, but, they could. Come out strong, with a purpose, and take it to them. Maybe some half court se......Oh, who am I kidding? Half court sets? Shoot 3's! Yippee!

We liked it, as did Claira. Shoot, the Shrine is becoming an issue with these games. I'll be at the new officer installation right by ISU tonight for the game. At least they'll have beer!

Didn't post much on this game, as I watched the first half from Bru Burgers in downtown Indy, and listened to the 2nd half on the radio while at the Murat for Paw Patrol Live. Had no desire to watch the tape when we got back to Terre Haute, but from what I'm gathering, it's the same old same old. NO movement on offense. Poor/no screens. Dribble, dribble, oh sh*t, shoot. Getting beat on defense? I just hope the correct team shows up to the Hall tonight.

No clue why it didn't keep the quoted text, nor my response. I'd agree on the other schools, but NOT ISU. They Sycamore message board is full of the same things. No in game adjustments. Driving into traffic, and watching the bigs dribble off their feet out of bounds, or, at best, a foul, and Brenton Scott (yes, Bryson's twin) shoots freethrows. Poorly. I just give up on all basketball. Isn't it like 49 days until pitchers and catchers report???

Not much better for me. Trees down 5 at home to the Shockers. Losing Rojo early, plus the Morgan horrible/freak injury hurt. Those 2 get good 2nd half burn, we're not a super sad fan base. Maybe frustrated, but at least with a W in tact. Will kiss the 2nd half Saturday as we're taking the little one to Paw Patrol live at the Mutat Shrine. I don't think so. They were eliminated Saturday by not winning, but at the time Irsay said it, they still had a fighting chance to get in. Hell, still had a chance to win the division, however long the odds were.

Why not make it 10, and rotate who plays who every year? Indiana Purdue Notre Dame Butler Indiana State Ball State Evansville Valparaiso IUPUI IPFW There are a lot of former Sycamore players, and a lot of fans that say schools like Butler and IU are scared to play them. In-state schools always get up and play their best against the other, larger schools. I think it'd be fun.

All I will throw into this mix is, IU lost to Butler, who is a great team. Yes, my Trees beat them, but that wasn't the true Butler team. They were off when the visited the Hulman Center. Bad. I mean, ISU got blown out at home by WKU the Sunday after knocking off Butler, then, lost by 18 on the road at Valpo, so the Sycamores beating them wasn't all that great. I've learned not to put much stock in rankings during the season. Let Coach show me what he can do in conference, and, during the tournament.

IU has been in th e bonus for the last 7+ minutes. Get. To. The. Line.

Didn't go to that one either, as we had a kids Christmas party for Claira we were at. Sounds like I'm glad we missed it.

They get a good chunk of money every month since they gave me a piece of paper telling me I was well educated, so I've been a fan since 96 when I transferred in from IUPUI. Good stuff when the Hoosiers aren't on.

Didn't get to make it tonight. Saw the 2nd half on TV. Trees are NOT a bad team this year. 3 of their losses could have been won. Go Trees! Sad thing is, most of the students who stormed the court won't be there Sunday when they play Western Kentucky.
