No. But we are. Oh, you meant rumors? Well, read Jerry's posts. Chris is keeping his powder dry and so is Josh. No serious-minded winning coach would ever let anyone know about going elsewhere during the active season. -
I knew that. Thanks. Well, we have an ex-NBA coach. Obviously not quite the same to compare a winner against a non-winner in different situations and levels of success. One would really have to vet BS to ascertain how he would recruit, staff, game, ... Is he really up to the all-consuming rigors of college-level coaching and fund raising? Especially after the NBA stint. A lot of us, including me, think that he would be a serious upgrade and most importantly a winner at this level. But, Dolson needs to make darn sure the next coach is a winner, is smart, and capable and willing. No more of this mailing in the effort. I just won't believe it until I see it.

Has BS actually coached a college program in the last 14 years?

Not necessarily, he could have had an excusable reason. -
General Coach Candidate News
Dave from Dayton replied to JaybobHoosier's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I cannot imagine that Dolson will announce a new separation agreement with Coach W before the women's game tonight. I also cannot imagine that Dolson will announce any such agreement before the end of the regular season. I would not complain if that happened, though. If it happened before the Michigan game, and if Dusty May has given the nod....which I don't think will happen...it would be extremely bad form for both schools to announce Dusty May as the chosen one....before the Michigan game. Somehow, I can kind of see that happening./s Back to a semblance of reality...two things really give me hope...1. the Cignetti hire sure sets the standard/template for hiring a head coach at IU. 2. Woody is toast. I hope IU wins out. If it happens, it would be because Coach Woodson was thunderstruck and changed a lot relative to the coaching and game planning and starting five and substitutions and...yeah, right. After 4 years of not doing it he has 10 epiphanies? Dolson had his shorts jerked by whomever overruled his choice last time. It ain't gonna happen again. -

After BS ads about subscribing...all Kent Sterling says is that he has hope. What a waste of time. -

In other words, we fully support and encourage deliberate sockpuppetry, ad hominem attacks on contributors and/or commenters, (far-fetched) claims without substantiation, behavior denying other commenters’ use of comment thread, but not behavior undermining site integrity and/or or users’ security. -

I have not had too many laughs since the year 2000 relative to IU basketball. Although Priller helped some. A few good wins and other stuff... cringeworthy. -

Dang, I thought that he might be talking about getting a GOAT not getting rid of gout. -

Personally, I am not in favor of Beard. I sport a mustache. (Is Woodson still coach? Oh. That is tough. Is he going to be pushed out? Yes. That is also tough. The team will then be well coached and win? Yes. They will miraculously get over the hump. Not tough to figure all this out. Except vetting and selecting a coach that is a winner is a process... Dolson did it with the excellent FB coach who is a winner. Because Cignetti is experienced, knowledgeable, a leader, a winner, and tough.) -
Listening tonight to some of their music. They have a really interesting album dated 2020. Nuff said. Thanks for the links and the post. Music is powerful and good quality. And fresh. But I am definitely not the best judge of that kind of thang. Let's see if she who must be obeyed has any comments/thoughts that I can ignore.

Everyone is so very negative. I think that IU will keep the loss under double digits. And it is not on major national broadcast channel. That plus the nail in the coffin thingy. How is that about being very positive? (But feel bad for the players that truly want to and try to win. Ditto for us fans. But keep your hopes up. Help is on the way. )

Looking for a cheap, good bourbon. Maybe, Winter Reserve Jim Beam 7 year. I will celebrate having graduated from IU when IU went undefeated. Home city is Evansville. Could not wait to see the world. Moved to Madison and lived walking distance to campus, State Street and the Capitol. Madison was a great place to be in 77 to 82. Live music, snow skiing, ice skating, canoeing near bird rookeries, camping, friends, food, sailing on the lakes, travel to boundary canoe waters in MN., Canada explores, fun stuff. Man! Their football was competitive and filled the stadium. Hockey was extremely great. Studied for my 2nd degree and went to all the IU vs UW games. Ugh. I am cheering for IU to win against Wisconsin. Just win, baby! I just can't see it. Okay, maybe not looking for a cheap bourbon. My go to is Four Roses Small Batch. I like New Riff...special reserve. I'll take a good rye old fashioned. *Picked up Jim Beam Single Barrell Selected Batch...I am going to enjoy the game tonight. Really hate missing the NCAAT. Boo.
