  3. Like to see more of the driving by Al. That was a good play by him. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

  5. Totally agree but unfortunately I don't see anyone getting hot from outside this year. Well, except for Hunter.
  6. Best, 2nd best....point being is that he's productive. I'm still on board with your point about unclogging the floor and having better spacing. There's just no where to go on offense at times.
  7. I'm still not getting the pot shots at Brunk. I can't say that he's the greatest at anything but he does have that one intangible that rest of the team (except maybe TJD) doesn't have; he hustles his a** off. And he's possibly our best rebounder as well. Count me as guilty for being "butthurt" for liking a player that plays hard. With that said, I do agree with your point that maybe he should be 6th man off the bench to open the spacing and Hunter should be starting in place of Smith.
  8. I know this is a venting thread, and trust me, I'm just as frustrated as everyone else regarding level of play, lack of progress, etc. But if Archie is run off after 3 years (which I highly doubt will happen), what "homerun" hire would realistically want to come here?? Even if he's let go after year four, the message to a new prospective coach is you have 3-4 years to figure it out, then we're hitting the reset button. We're on our 4th coach (technically 5th if you count Dakich) since Knight (2000). Going off of past experience, it seems to me we'd end up settling on option 2, 3, or 4 again after hitting the reset button and back in the same rut. Do we really believe a Stevens, Beard, Few, Bennett, Pearl, etc would come here after that precedent?
  9. Can’t recall ever seeing Morgan quit. Having a tough game (not showing up), sure...but quitting??? Nah Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  10. I wouldn't be starting Smith. He can come off the bench behind Hunter.
  11. I’m hoping 2-4 the next 6 games and then 2-0 at home to finish. “Hoping” is the key word here. Then losing the 1st round of the B1G tourney and the 1st round of the NCAA. Like Wayne, I have zero confidence in this group in regard to competitiveness and basketball IQ. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Mike Pegram just tweeted that Knight spoke to the team before the game, emphasizing to play hard. And they produce that!? Wow...
  13. Where’s the leader on this team getting in the other player’s faces demanding better? Don’t have it. I remember when IU Was #1 and lost to Butler. Jordan Hulls was pissed. Where are our pissed off players on this team? Don’t see them.
  14. Home game that’s important to your tourney resume, against your hated rival, and the hall of fame coach that hasn’t been around for 20 years comes back. How do these players sh*t the bed so badly for that?
  15. The 50 year old, balding dude is killing us. I’ll take 5 of him on this team
  16. A soft team and not sure why I keep expecting different outcomes. I don’t care about how many stars are behind a name, I would rather have some hard-nosed BA’s here
  17. Al let the biggest, slowest guy just pick his pocket
  18. I don’t think they heard the “defense” chant at halftime
  19. MAkes me wonder if they were anticipating a speech from him
  20. Well damn. I’m all of a sudden not upset about the game any more * sniff*
  21. JFC, this is embarrassing. Blame coaching all you want but it’s up to the players to have passion and execute.
  22. I’m excited about halftime but I can’t say the same for how we’re playing right now
  23. Phinisee has a habit of stopping the offensive flow by standing
