You usually have more “scares” when playing in a tougher conference. I think BYU was the only team to even challenge Gonzaga in WCC conference play this year. And their draw in this tournament has been very forgiving. Gonzaga is really good and deserving on the #1 ranking but I doubt they go undefeated in regular season play if they belonged in a tougher conference. Love this. I also think TJD and Duncomb both benefit from this. Duncomb and go against one of the best big men in the B1G and hopefully Duncomb can provide quality sub time to TJD during games. All of this said with the assumption of no Brunk.

It might sound odd but this comment right here is what stood out most to me from the entire press conference. To me, Woodson basically saying "don't waste my time if you're not serious and I won't waste your time if I'm hired". I don't know, I liked the no-nonsense of it all and I think that attitude will translate well down to recruits.
