    What I'd like to see from our AD is what Mal Moore did at Alabama and how they pursued Saban. Moore wasn't going to take "no" for answer and was hell bent on restoring Alabama football

    I don't know NIL details, but I'd have to think U of Florida could easily match anything IU is putting on the table if he decided to be closer to home.

    I misrepresented it to the original question by saying a "poor portal haul" but his post here seems to mean that if Ware, Mgbako, and Reneau enter the portal and an early Auburn exit could move the needle now.

    I agree, odds are it being a lost year. Depending on a portal roster overhaul definitely isn’t a recipe for success. I have to think if there is a homerun candidate seriously interested, then you have to pursue that, regardless of hurt feelings. Not everyone gets to ride off into the sunset.

    Yep! Winning a conference championship sucks! Long live Woody In all seriousness, look at his emotional response to that win and his connection with the players. I’d love to see that at IU

    The observation with May is that he’s done more with less where Woodson has done less with more.

    It’s been interesting to see that hardly any media personalities are in support of Woodson. Lots of shots being taken. I can’t imagine these go unnoticed by “decision makers”.
