I can think of 3 or 4 offense rebounds that ended up 3 point makes for Duke. Other than Ingram (who Dicky has annotated the 2nd coming), we've done okay on defense. We need to go straight man and box out and pray the refs don't bail them out. NEED t REBOUND.

The Defense has not been as bad, but the rebounding has been awful. The one time we have a solid box out and we get called for a foul.

The loss is not the end of the world, but how we lost was concerning. Poor defense, soft in the paint, no movement on offense when it counted and NOBODY step up. It's early, but I've done a 180 on this team. I thought this might be the year, but I'm not sure we're top 25 after that... Vandy looked like a top 10 team... I was hoping to see something similar from our guys ... A lot of basketball left and I hope this was just a small bump in the road ...

I'm sure of one thing. I don't have a clue what's going on. I'm not even sure when it's good to get a commitment. Or if you want the one and done or the 4 year guy or some mixture of that equation. I wish for the days of yesteryear when you read about it in the paper... Of course those days are when, I saw banners going up every 5 years .... Here's to more banners.... Yep. This might be an indication that's he's changing his recruiting methods and looking for B-Ball players and not freak athletes as his growth players. It looks like this young man might stay 4 years and contribute years 3/4. Who knows but I like shooters from Indiana, so I'm happy with the pickup. Typically these kids will be a weapon and have the IQ to help/not hurt in other areas. Like a lot of people have stated... Butler type recruit that I hate watching play for the Bulldogs.

I thought April had more upside, but MSB is a legend and I see great things coming year 3 or 4 .... I'll say this .. He seems like a great young man, so I'll cheer for him on every occasion.

  Well you have a point, but i would hope they would not be pompous assholes in the light of those infractions. If the NCAA had any balls, they would have stripped them of their National Championship.   Not sure Jimmy would have survived the pulling down of the banner, but maybe I’m more naïve than I thought.

  I agree with the disingenuous, slime ball and shameless self promoter. I would say he's a good coach that will most likely have a great record. But from a strictly coaching standpoint he coaches great defense with great athletes/players and coaches dribble drive with the same great athletes/players (making them all mesh together is where he shines). At the end of the day, I guess win/loss will be the best indicator of his "greatness" (and that’s a pretty good barometer to use). Of course only time will tell, if he gets to keep all his W...   I'm basically agreeing with you....

I can't argue with Cal results, but he's so fake it makes me want to throw up. He gets results with great talent and gets them to play together. I'm not sure his coaching allowed Harrison to hit big shot after big shot last year, but maybe it was. I guess he did coach good enough to get his talent a chance at the end.   At this point, I'm not comfortable arguing what I think Coach Crean can accomplish.

And I don't think Cal is a great coach, but he's great at marketing and getting great players to live the dream $$$$...and play within his system. It's amazing how he can gets those Kids to buy into playing those minutes and sharing the glory... I'll give him props for that.

    Yep... both right and I don't think the apple falls too far from the tree.. I'm not sure Josh is half the coach of Cal, so we will see how long it continues ...
