I don't know, I've got a bad feeling that Purdue is actually going to make a good hire. Pelini won like 70% of his games at Nebraska. I'm also concerned they're going to go after P.J. Fleck. Their last two hires have been so bad, I'm not sure they could do worse.

I had a dream last night that the Cubs lost 11-10.

Just gonna say it now: the Indians will not quit. I've seen plenty of them this year and they've pulled off so many ridiculous comebacks. Can't ever give them extra outs.

Not to mention, Self getting knocked off in the early rounds has kind of been a low-key storyline since he's been at Kansas. Yeah, he has a national championship, but he's also lost to 13 and 14 seeds in the opening round and lost to a 10 seed in the second round with 2 of the top 3 draft picks.

Kansas? Shouldn't we be focused on Bellarmine? (DWS) If we beat Kansas and UNC, imagine what a recruiting coup that would be for Crean, to have wins over UK, Kansas and UNC all in a calendar year (you could throw in Louisville for good measure). Just dreaming here; I seriously doubt we'd win all three, and those schools would probably just up the ante for whatever they give their recruits anyway.

I didn't know NBA guards could get beat off the dribble as easily as the Pacers' have these first few games.

I know the NFL and college are way different, but it's funny how the Colts go 4 years between 100 yard rushers while IU had 3 in the same game yesterday. The Colts are trash. I'm sure Pagano is rattling off his usual cliches about getting better and watching film.

I could see the Cubs winning tomorrow, and maybe even Tuesday. Problem is, even if that happens, Kluber will be waiting in Game 7. I really feel for Cubs fans, but I had a feeling this was going to happen when people were acting like the curse had already been broken. It's tough to see your team fail in the World Series. I've seen it twice, and there's honestly no worse feeling. You've watched for more than half a year, and when your team just slowly unravels at this stage, it sucks. You really can't count on next year, or any year, because there's no bigger playoff crapshoot than baseball.

Sorry to say, I think the Cubs may have met their match. Cleveland is just so remarkably balanced; there are so many different ways they can win games. As a Tigers fan, I'm not looking forward to constantly hearing about how the last two champions are from our division and how they've achieved so much more while spending a fraction of what we do.

As a Tigers fan, I've had to watch firsthand just how lucky the Indians have been time after time this season, and that was just yet another example. Also, I thought people were overreacting when they put the Indians in the World Series after they got Miller, but man, that guy has been out of this world. Like I said, the Indians have gotten every break all year.

We've been to 2 bowl games in the last 20 years, and he got us to one of them. Not to mention, we finally have a defense that's not completely terrible. He's not getting fired.

I'm sure the Buckeyes will plummet all the way to #4 in next week's poll.

I doubt PSU will hold on, but impressive performance, nonetheless.

Pagano said there is "video evidence" that the Colts have a good defense. I can't wait until this goofball is a position players coach somewhere else.

As we should be. I'd love to wake up tomorrow morning to find out Pagano is gone, but I know it won't happen.

I wish I could find the posts on the old IU forums where stlboiler was thrilled with the hire and made post after post trying to convince us that Hazell was going to turn them around.

I hate that the Colts could be in first place after tonight. And I hate that I feel that way. But I'm seriously fed up with this organization and don't want them feeling good about the sh*tshow they've put together. Just watch, a month from now they'll be like 4-6 and Pagano will be raving about how the team is a bunch of warriors and they're only 1 game out of first place with the Texans at home later on. Our ceiling is another 8-9 win season with a hollow division title and early playoff exit. Barf. We need better draft picks and better management. We aren't getting either with another playoff appearance (and another big banner in the rafters celebrating it).

Isn't this called "scouting?" Sounds like a big baby to me.

I really hate that we're 0-2 against Rutgers since they joined the Big Ten.
