  1. Gotta Squeeze McRoberts in there somewhere. I think he starts at least at the beginning of the year, bumping Robert P to the bench. Anderson moves to the "odd men out" category.
  2. I haven't heard much Aidan Igiehon talk recently. Did we watch him in the April evals? Doesn't seem like IU is actually in that recruitment.
  3. Now just what are you trying to suggest here? I expect more discretion from a man named BubbleKnuts.
  4. He's playing up a year with the '19 kids but still not a great showing.
  5. Brandon Newman putting up some nice numbers.
  6. That very well could be the case. I think the staff and their top priorities talk pretty frequently though (when allowed). If a guy wants to commit but also keep his NBA options open I would assume the recruit or the family would make that clear. My default thought on TJD waiting is that he has plenty of time to decide and wants to make sure he's making the right choice.
  7. I don't see why committing to a school would stop them from entering the draft if the one-and-done rule goes way.
  8. I suppose it's possible (Bridges at MSU as recent history) but I would not expect him to be at IU for two years.
  9. If he plays Freddie McSwain minutes but with a more polished offensive game I think everyone's happy.
  10. Dakich made a comment during one of the game broadcasts when Davis wasn't playing hard. Something along the lines of, "nobody cares if you're limping around in practice, time to man up." That's the only time I heard anything about him being hurt before the Achilles tear.
  11. Blackmon! BLACKMON! BLACKMON! Sorry... one of my pet peeves that people constantly misspell his name.
  12. I'm going to go backwards and try to think of guys who won't break into the rotation next year. Let's call it a 9 man rotation so that leaves 4 scholarship players out in the cold, plus another scholarship player since we know McRoberts will be a significant contributor. So my 5 end-of-bench guys are: Damezi Forrester De'ron for health reasons Moore I'm struggling for the last one here... but I'll say Hunter just because he's a freshman at a position that already has some solid contributors.
  13. Interesting since we just filled our last scholarship...
  14. Damn... would be hard to pass up a free year in Santa Barbara.
  15. Kira Lewis - PG on Watford's AAU team I believe.
  16. "He sets a 'blueprint' I believe for how Archie utilizes Trendon’s overall skill set." That sounds like he wants to see how Romeo is used this season. It does not read like an imminent commitment to me.
  17. Betrayed by Figgy. Should have seen it coming.
  18. Crocodile Dundee has a solution for this in his documentary on Los Angeles.
  19. The long awaited content on HSN tonight is the lyrics of Toto’s Africa reworked to be about Romeo committing to IU. A little silly but all in good fun. Now for the real deal. The sheep I slaughtered for the rites of basketball divination says Romeo to IU. For the detail oriented folks, that means the blood drained out the southeast side of the altar. Hail Hydra.
  20. Is this him hearing the same? Lol
  21. A very generous family of IU alumni who offered to pay for our locker room renovations. "Dave and Susan Roberts are Hoosiers to their core. During their time at IU, Dave received his MBA from the Kelley School of Business in 1978, and Susan received her bachelors in Political Science in 1972. Although their work has taken them to several different states, they have remained men's basketball season ticket holders since 1989." http://iuhoosiers.com/news/2018/4/18/varsity-club-dave-susan-roberts-make-major-gift-to-for-all-the-indiana-university-bicentennial-campaign-in-support-of-renovations-to-indiana-basketballs-team-area.aspx
