  1. Sounds like defense and special teams had a great day. At what point are those plays a defense/special teams learning to play consistently and not just one off plays?
  2. If you look, 31 was hit on the play prior in the highlights by Howard and Redding in the play after and couldn't tackle them. Howard almost broke 31's tackle again on the last play. They found their b!?$&
  3. Wow, a non-recruiting post from pap. And joke to boot!
  4. Tevin is running like a man out there. Lower his shoulder and making people pay for tackling him. Has dragged a few guys as well. Nice cuts when the pocket collapsed a few times.
  5. Considering McClain was the recruiting lead for DD, and we're still doing very well with him, I'd say there's no reason to fret. Also, one recruit cannot break a class as large as the one we will bring in. I disagree with your entire statement and general view of recruiting.
  6. I love to make gigantic assumptions about recruiting as well.
  7. GTFO our state Alford. @EvanDaniels: UCLA watched and offered New Albany (Ind.) High standout Romeo Langford today, per his coach.
  8. Rather have them go develop in the NBA then be used by whatever side-show this Vegas team is going to become.
  9. Oh no! What could this mean?! @JeffRabjohns: De'Ron Davis' in-home visit with Indiana impressed a key person: His mom. "She was amazed." http://t.co/ut66Pt359g http://t.co/yB0cZXuWbc
  10. ITH had an article. DD cited the fact that the three added programs will have lots of air time on TV as a main consideration.
  11. How'd they do in the tournament last year? Oh yeah...
  12. no. @JeffRabjohns: De'Ron Davis' in-home visit with Indiana "went really, really well." http://t.co/WnxPUWdgOz
  13. Quote from DD: The visit "went really, really well."
  14. You just said in another thread we're 20-25 range in CBB. Winner of the B1G is at least a top ten team, more likely top 5.
  15. I got the feeling that he wasn't high on our list.
  16. Agree with Stu. Just a lot of realistic reactions to an underwhelming commitment in a class full of studs, both in and out of state. I also agree with you. One of Crean's recruiting issues has been balancing classes. Gelon appears, in my very early observations, to be a four year player. You need some of those in every class. I get excited about the potential of every recruit, but I am particularly excited about this kid, despite his unheralded status, due to his attitude towards Indiana. I'll be rooting for this kid.
  17. If Crean treats this kid well, maybe he can begin to rebuild his reputation with in-state coaches. @ZachOsterman: Interesting comment from Gelon's AAU coach on how he might fit with other #iubb targets in 2016: http://t.co/o1kqxjWqAm
  18. @Justin_Albers: Grant Gelon’s message to Indiana fans: "I'm a hard worker and I'm gona work my tail off to help this team win.” #iubb
  19. There you go folks, a kid who's dreamed of wearing the Candy Stripes. @ZachOsterman: "This has been the dream for a long time." Grant Gelon commits to #iubb: http://t.co/HsWZXfZqa2 via @indystar
  20. @Justin_Albers: Grant Gelon: “I still might be shaking. It was just the greatest moment.” #iubb
  21. @ZachOsterman: Just got off phone with Gelon. Story comin. Fair to say he's pumped: "I know I keep saying it, but I really can’t be more excited." #iubb
  22. @Justin_Albers: Grant Gelon on committing to Indiana: “I want this, and I’m ready to work.” #iubb
  23. As said earlier, Wisconsin has Bo Ryan who would red shirt this kid, build him to fit his system, and then release him on the court only when he's ready. I'm not very confident that will be GG's path here.
  24. Can we start a thread on who Jordan Davis is?
