  1. 247 indicates he is signed as of 11/12, but IU has not put out a release which is odd.
  2. It's funny. The bad word shows up in the thread preview but not in the thread
  3. Stop posting this garbage
  4. "I want to spend the day clearing wooded land with Paul Bunyan and his Blue Ox, please!" "Here you are, sir. We call this Flannel Fury. Enjoy!"
  5. Good video analysis from ITH. They call this out in the first video, but you can see RoJo fight over the top of screens a couple other times as well. That was a big issue last year. Hopefully the team really worked on this. Overall, I love the pressure we applied. The whole team seem committed to the pressure as well. http://www.insidethehall.com/2015/11/12/film-session-bellarmine/
  6. I said sophomore Bryant. I have no idea what Bryant will look like yet.
  7. Until we see him play, it's completely plausible that a sophomore Bryant is better than sophomore Zeller. Don't know if a freshman Davis beats out senior Watford though. Regardless, this is really going to help spring recruiting.
  8. This really helps us sell to our remaining targets. Alkins has to be interested in our roster.
  9. Thank god. Did not want to have to deal with the Doomsdayers if he committed to MSU. Way to seal the deal on the 3 year play, Crean.
  10. Albers already tweeted he committed to IU @Justin_Albers: 2016 big man De’Ron Davis commits to Indiana. #iubb (FREE) https://t.co/jE8qBMfI73
  11. I've been refreshing my Twitter feed every 5 seconds for 10 minutes. I am pathetic.
  12. Albers reporting that unless something changes last minute, De'Ron is a Hoosier
  13. Duwan Huell is class of 2016. We Gucci.   Let's get De'Ron today, and then go after Huell.
  14. There have been zero flips from Indiana to MSU in the Crystal Ball over the course of De'Ron's recruitment. Not even hedge flips during his MSU official visit. Given the flippant nature of the analyst making picks on there, this is pretty telling IMO. The only two picks for MSU came last week from two MSU analysts. Hope we land this kid, he would be a great piece to have next to Bryant competing with Morgan and OG next year.
  15. There will be plenty of talent waiting till the spring for us to pull, but recent trends have shown our spring recruitment can be a bit scary.
  16. Ha! Looks like we had the same thought.
  17. Yes, but one player probably isn't the difference between a top-30 defense and a top-80.
  18. This is the big question. To be honest though, I'm having a hard time seeing why the 2015-2016 can't have similar defensive success. Besides Vic, no one on the team was an exceptional defender, and they playing under the same system and same coach.    I don't expect this team to be nearly as good defensively, it's just hard to determine why.
  19. That's weird. Love when thinks make no sense.
  20. Don't quote me, but it's a mix of kids from different recruiting classes, so it may have something to do with that. Best players in Indiana, regardless of class?
  21. Mods, not sure why, but I posted this from a Windows laptop, and can't view the text in the OP on an Apple phone.
  22. Troy had a much better sophomore year than Vic, but Vic made a HUGE leap between sophomore and junior year. Like I said, I really think next offseason we'll look back and say Troy was better. Honestly, Vic is just immaculate in our eyes because he played hard, was a major underdog, was our highest draft pick in many years, and embodied Indiana basketball, while Troy has faltered here and there in the eyes of the fanbase and came in with major hype.
  23. Initially, I did as well, but we also have the bias from watching junior Vic and comparing it to the potential of junior Troy. It'll be interesting to see how we all feel about this comparison after the season ends. I'm predicting it surprises us all.
  24. Defensively, I agree, but the numbers show Vic was actually more turnover prone. Honestly, Vic's biggest weakness was his control.
