I hold a firm belief that if Schertz kept the squad (minus Conwell, he was outta there) together at ISU for 24-25, we’d be crawling over broken glass to hire him. That move to SLU kinda took him out of the spotlight even though he’s improved them quite a bit in year one.

People have probably been over me talking about it for 18+ months now, but I won’t quit. What he did at Indiana State was nothing short of incredible. The incompetence and indifference runs deep in that department and he plowed through all of it. I’m not even actually pushing for him to get the job, but he’s going to have a high major in a really good spot in the next 5-6 years.
