It is a guess, but I am thinking Sudfield finally won the starting job. It hurts from a depth perception but I like Suds better as a starter. Some starting stability will help. Seems awfully late to transfer, which makes me think strongly he lost the Spring QB battle.
Definitely possible. Seemed like he was the starter during the spring and something would have to go really wrong for a starter to transfer. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

It's a blessing in disguise unless, of course, you thought Tre was the better option of the two. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Out on the lake today and saw this. We soon after shot cannons at, and boarded this vessel while we lifted our cream and crimson Jolly Roger. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
He could be a great fit for the Spurs style IMO. He needs to improve his 3pt%. 33.3 is good but not great. That would be his main purpose in the NBA I would think.
Poor man's Boris Diaw. Homeless man's Boris Diaw in the playoffs this year. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Yeah last night didn't fall how Cody needed it to. No big deal. Once Marqise Lee is off the board, Cody should be soon after. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -

Todd McShay just gave Cody a shoutout on The Herd. (Yes, I watch The Herd. And I love it.) Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -
Cubs fan, obviously <<<---. I think the addition of Clark the Cub is gonna do wonders for the franchise, he brings a real winning attitude to the clubhouse and I am looking forward to that. In all seriousness though, one more year of heartache in Wrigleyville then the Cubbies will start competing, at least they will be able to score runs to compete. Most of the pitching will need to come through free agency, but the offense is looking like it could be top notch in a couple years.
Did you see the photoshop competition Deadspin did for Clark the Cub? Hilarious stuff. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

(2015) LB Jack Hockaday to Iowa
Hovadipo replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
This kid's a monster. We're from the same area in Central Illinois, but I'm a few classes older than him. Maroa-Forsyth high school is dominant in this area. They've won 3 or 4 state championships in the last 5 or 6 years. There are rumors that they "recruit" kids from Decatur (Maroa is more or less a suburb of Decatur, if you will), but I've never bought that rumor. Anyways, he dominated the state in football, basketball, and track. Maybe baseball, too, but I'm not 100% sure. Freak athlete. I've seen where he ran something like a 4.4-4.5 when he was a Sophomore. He's kind of a local legend around here I guess haha. Would've been nice to land him. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -
Corners the size of Talib and Sherman (Seattle's entire secondary for that matter) are nice to have, but hard to find. Revis is one of the top corners in the game and he's not even 6'. Vontae Davis is less than 6'. Grimes and Butler are both 5'10 as is Alfonzo Dennard. That's the NFL level where players are bigger, I wouldn't consider 5'9 that unusual for a college corner and if he's got enough athleticism he could mitigate the height difference to an extent. EDIT: Our own Tim Bennett is only 5'9. Michigan, MSU, Ohio State and Alabama all have a corner or DB on their roster listed at 5'9. Michigan has 3 or so.
Tim Jennings, the Bears Pro Bowl corner has been at the top of the league in picks the last few seasons and he isn't much taller than 5'7. Freak athlete though.
I kind of like it it adds to a very exciting day of basketball. Teams usually get about a 6 hour break between games
I don't think it's too bad of a deal. I always hated playing twice in one day, but it definitely cuts travel costs.
Yep
That's weird to me. In Illinois, it goes regionals then sectionals, which is confusing enough. Now this.. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
