I think the scenario where the Raiders go Moore (and I think they’d take him at 1, not trade down) ends up with Fernando in Cleveland. NYJ has so many holes to fill, they really can’t afford to trade up. CLE would be better than the Jets, but barely. A dark horse/wishful thinking option is Arizona who currently sits at 5. Their GM is aggressive on draft day and it’s pretty clear to me that the Kyler era is over. Moore goes #1, AZ trades up to 2 with NYG. That gets even more tasty if things get crazy this weekend and the Cards are somehow sitting at 4 or even 3.

If the Jets want him, they’ll likely have to trade for him. They no longer have a shot at the 1st pick.

IU pays about $20 million a year in athletic scholarships (according to TDH). Schools fund those differently (it can get really tricky at lower levels), but I’d imagine most of IU’s comes from our massive TV deals and things like that. Do with that what you will. This debate doesn’t really interest me one way or the other because it isn’t changing and likely will only get crazier. Adapt or die.
