  1. Lets go Warriors! Honestly good with all three of the teams that are left. Three of the top 5 teams talent wise left.
  2. Taking Sabonis with the third pick would be Darko level of stupid when it goes to picks.
  3. Unless they get Simmons or Ingram no. Even then they'd have to give up all the crap the Nets gave them too. Outside of picks the Celtics are just a whole lot of 'meh'. Marcus Smart is crazy inefficient offensively, Bradley is a solid asset though I don't know how much I actually want him, just no to Turner, they aren't giving up IT, Crowder is just 'meh', Rozier sucks, Hunter, sucks, Olynyk is a nice back up. I mean Stevens has done some amazing things there, but that roster is crap. I mean if they want to give us a ton of draft picks great, but I'd still want something more proven.
  4. McMillan being promoted is yet another sign that Bird is completely out of touch with the current NBA
  5. .... Seriously? If they hire Jackson or Shaw and there is minimal change to the roster the team takes a step backward with the only reason to watch being PG and Turner. He turned a team with Stuckey, Ellis, Jordan Hill, LaVoy Allen, CJ Miles, and a young still not good defensively Turner and made them a top defensive team still. Not to mention PG still isn't where he was two years ago defensively coming back from injury.
  6. Messina is the Spurs assistant that everyone talks about
  7. Yeah I've felt this way about Bird for two years now. He's been way more miss than hit in free agency, he hit on West and....... uh. The risks he has taken in free agency, Lawson and Bynum, never really panned out. Trades he has been more miss than hit, Hill-Leonard being the obvious example, though this one is a bit over blown. The only trade he really "won" was the Ian one. In his defense he has been more hit than miss in the draft, but he has had a bad dud or two, Hansbrough over both Holiday and Lawson. We signed Pritchard to take over eventually, or at least that was the narrative at the time. I guess I want to see what he can do if anything.
  8. So its sounding like the Pacers and Vogel are going to part ways. Which is incredibly stupid. I swear if Bird signs his best bud McHale I'm gonna be super pissed, just another sign that Bird needs to get out of the front office.
  9. Can't wait to see the Heat wipe the floor with the Raptors. Hopefully DeRozan can shoot better than 35% for the series, probably not, since whenever a team can focus on him he is god awful.
  10. Spurs offense is amazing to watch. Too bad Golden State has a video game character on their team
  11. I'm gonna pre-game a lot before the Pacers game tomorrow. Yay for no work
  12. Yeah, dude was putting up historic advanced numbers as a perimeter defender pre-injury. He isn't back to that level yet. But is still easily a plus defender, most nights considerably better
  13. Drummond has actually developed an offensive game. Something Whiteside hasn't. He still isn't consistent and gets by a more with just being an athletic monster for his size, but he has something resembling a back to the basket game now. Okay. Come back to me in 3 years.
  14. You can't honestly believe that Whiteside and Drummond are identical players right? Drummond is one of the focal points of Detroit's offense, plus is a better rebounder than Whiteside. Cousins and Drummond can take over games by themselves offensively, Whiteside can't. And yeah, Turner every single day of the week long term. KAT too it isn't even a risk with him
  15. I mean Drummond and KAT are by far the best "young centers" in the NBA. If you consider Cousins young then he is definitely in the mix too. I'd take Gobert before I'd take Whiteside too, just because he is younger. Heck long term I'd take Turner every day of the week over Whiteside, a center that looks like he is going to be great from midrange, can step out and hit the three point shot, and projects as a great rim protector, yes please.
  16. Yeah. I don't hate Zeller. But like I want a guy who is a defensive stud, which Zeller isn't. Plus, Cody tested out amazing as an athlete at the combine...... but watching the Hornets does anyone really sit back and say, "Wow that guy is an amazing athlete". If we could get a guy like a WCS next to Turner going forward that would be great, because honestly as of right now Turner isn't that great defensively outside of blocking shots. Ian is a really good compliment defensively..... but he doesn't really have the offensive skill set to compliment Turner
  17. Yeah, with Steph who is literally a video game character. Klay, Bogut, Igoudala, Lee before he started sucking, Barnes. And that team lost in the first round.
  18. No thanks. There are a ton of guys I'd rather have than Zeller.
  19. Jackson is a bad coach. A number of Pacers fans want us to hire him, and I just don't get it. Look at Golden State with Jackson, and now without Jackson. Dude was holding that team back.
  20. No thanks. I mean it won't really hurt, but I don't really think Yogi is going to ever be anything but a d-leaguer or over seas guy. I guess I'd rather stash a guy, or shoot for the moon like we did with Lance
  21. Its the Kings. What do you expect other than horrible decision, after horrible decision, after horrible decision.
  22. The ones who really thought we had a chance to win more than a game 4 at home against the Cavs. I think they lose in 6 to the Raptors. There was a real good chance they got swept by the Cavs
  23. Isn't that likely going to change with the projected cap boom that NBA teams are about to experience?
  24. OT: But do people realize how horrible Sam Hinkie is at his job now. It doesn't help that apparently the 76ers are choosing the kids who have huge character issues apparently, but that is on Hinkie for hiring those people. Okafor has had off the court issues, Embid can't get healthy or stop eating junk food, and now this with Noel
