    I have no issues with an All Time Great Hoosier showing love to a coach that did legit help him start for the Warriors as a rookie. We all know that those tournament runs were a testament to his toughness, leadership, and work ethic. If he wants to share it with Woody, so be it. Not everything Woody did was awful. Ware all said "Woody kept his promises" when asked before the draft about him.

    A legit friend of Cronin has always disagreed with that assessment and says he'd kill for the job, and Rabjohns hinted there was something that would make his buyout lower if IU was interested. Doesn't sound like things that would be out if he wasn't. Our last Peacock game they were talking about him being interested in the job.

    Literally he was the worst name linked to this job from the start. Why on earth would we hire this guy when we could have easily hired Cronin instead.

    Well any other name that has been listed as being a strong candidate is in the process of signing or has signed an extension, the McCollum news seems to be his agent trying to pressure Iowa to not hire Devries, and the people that haven't been contacted (Wade, Cronin and McDermott) seem to indicate that it was someone high on the list and they didn't get far down it to find the coach.

    The terms online state if you are offered a bid in the 3 conferences you have to take it. However, Rabby posted tonight that IU would not be part of the Crown if they don't make the NCAA tournament. So who knows? Obviously they are going to have to move that portal start date back in the future, it's stupid.
