Some IU fans are ridiculous. Clinch a B1G regular season title, claiming about they are going to be bad next year. Just suck the fun out of everything.

My friend and I were discussing this. If he can be a good PG in the truest since and average 5 assists and 8 points (or something similar), with JBJ back in the line up getting buckets like he do, and the talented big men that we could have, IU should be interesting again

Where in the rule book does it say that Coaches that don't have talented teams can be COY? Just wondering.

I am going to the BTT with my Chicago buddies (I live in Indy). It is the first weekend of my last spring break ever. I am all aboard the tournament system. Even if I don't get tickets, I am sure we can find a friendly tavern booth to cheer from.

My late night class is cancelled so I will get to watch the Wisky/Iowa game. Normally I would use this free time to prep for school, but seeing as I graduate law school in May, I am finding it a better use of my time to watch B1G games. -
Odds that LSU and Ben Simmons makes the tournament? When was the last time that a number one pick taken out of college (so not foreign or straight out of high school) didn't make it to the big dance the year before?

They went to the tourney the year before if my memory serves me right. Marco Killingsworth last year. DJ White got injured.

Sampson's only full year at IU he went 21-11 and lost in the second round.

I think it is awesome that IU's last three games are on ESPN and CBS. Also, how much fun is it to be in the hunt like this? I am paying attention to every game actually hoping for a certain outcome.

I think by impatience he means more the fact that people are saying fire him just for the sake of firing him and are not offering any legitimate replacement hire.

I agree. I let myself get out of hand with this whole thread. I am going to enjoy the rest of the season and consider all of this during the off season.

That is true. Same could be said about Drew. I am not saying Crean doesn't have his issues. I am saying that firing him for the sake of taking a chance on a coach that has 0 wins in the tournament seems kind of circular argument. Take it easy and enjoy the season.
