Just got home from a weekend of iu basketball mens and womens. Yesterday was incredibly sad to experience. Something must be done and I would recommend soon. If the fans don't want to watch the product that is probably worse than having a bad record. One pop from the crowed when malik got a slam and the foul. I was a diehard coaches show listener basically until maybe last season. This year they really lowered the amount of shows. Anyways when Woodson first got this job and had his radios coaches show it was scary the amount of stuff he admitted he had no clue about In college ball. He didn't understand basic rules. It was obvious he hadn't watched it even on tv. If you go back and find those first couple shows you will probably realize this guy was way under qualified and would have been a absolute miracle if it had worked out Sent from my SM-A326U using Tapatalk

But if that clown got as far as a meeting with his assistant coaches to prepare for the big 10 tournament and didn't know who the opponent was then that tells you all u need to know about what the problem is and his commitment to this job. I will say this every season Woodson and team have spiraled at some point and lost several games in a row or just looked terrible in general. Each of those times I thought it was over and he would be fired. Then he seemingly turns it around and wins a couple games and kind of turns it around but then ends the season on a low note. Last year he definitely should have been fired though imo. Winning a few games at the end of the big 10 season and missing the tournament isn't good enough. 2 years ago I was at the northwestern game at assembly hall. I wasn't impressed with anything even the pregame warmup when we were screwing around shooting half courters most of the time. I believe we lost 4 games in a row at that time? Then a player only meeting happens and the we win some games and make the tournament. I feel that was tjd getting the team focused to try to go out on a high note and nothing to do with Woodson. Infact I am pretty confident Woodson is probably the least talented coach iu has had since I have been a fan and it isn't close. We have had great talent imo and do very little with it. Let's not forget there has already been fighting among players and coaches in the huddle. I believe when the season really starts and things get hard this house of cards will fall apart. I will be more shocked if Woodson finishes the season. It may be medical or some other reason besides firing but I doubt he makes it imo. I see alot of doom and gloomers in here. I am not as convinced as some that Woodson was brought back this year all because of Buckner. I believe they may have been as dumb as we think. I feel they didn't want to fire another coach already and look like they don't know what they are doing lol. I believe they felt Woodson could do good enough to get the fans back on board if they bought enough talent. I mean they did go pretty much all in on that. I feel it worked for the off season as I think with the ranking and the hype the fans were on board. Unfortunately the season started and we fell flat so far. I believe it is that simple. If this continues he will be fired because fan support is gone and the administration looks as terrible as ever. I believe they were dumb enough to attempt this and it hasn't worked. Count me as one saying Woodson won't make it the entire season. I think the wheels fall off once we consistently play big 10 competition! I was watching purdue yesterday when they lost lol. There can be 2 truths. Crean was far far superior to last 2 coaches since him. Crean rebuilt the program and had his chance to succeed but for what should be our standard he wasn't good enough. However of you fire crean I think you have to pull the trigger far sooner with Archie and Woodson and fire them sooner. Worse with Woodson though because he is old and Archie needed a little time to have a chance cause he was young. My opinion Sent from my SM-A326U using Tapatalk

Reason to move now rather then end of season is to hopefully give someone a chance with these guys to change it up. I don't believe anything positive can be gained staying in this toxic situation we are in currently. We are bleeding off the diehard fans now! who are these true fans I would love to know? Even if Woodson had the fab 5 2.0 he would bring them to enough games so under prepared we would be lucky to finish 5. Probably win a few games in a row then get crushed by 30 on the road on repeat. That's by far been his biggest failure was consistently bringing a competitive team. This year it seems at some point during every game we lapse.
