It is not like the old cap where you could pay a little bit in penalty tax. Now if over it is very punitive. Others have the exact details. Chris and JY have provided background to information they shared about BS. This helps makes those cases a little more plausible. Not sure it is really very reasonable to get many, if any, facts at this stage. We get stories and then the reader considers those and makes a determination and it should be pointed out that determination is not in cement, but wavers as other stories come in. One fact we go was BS "comment" to Goodman which adds to this and for some, maybe those who never believed the BS coming storyline, they then have the "evidence" they need to say see he is not coming. For others, who may think the BS is maybe coming stories, that "comment" was not a definitive comment and there may still be a path. I think the background shared by Chris and JY (and if ap, and others also had that information shared credit to them too) sheds some light on this and either we have a few creative liers or there is some smoke. If there is some smoke then maybe this could occur. @Truthhurts came on and confidently said they had a source close to BS saying 0% chance. That seems to warrant some background info as to how that came about, did the discussion take place last time? Was there a vote? can he shed any details to contradict? @BGleas has a different opinion and has sources and personal background with the Celtics. He has shed light on what he thinks happened or did not happen. That certainly impacts the information credibility shared by Chris and JY but does not debunk it completely. It is all about the story, the background info, and even how long they have participated here.

I agree. My youngest was going into her senior year so she and mom stayed behind and I traveled a ton that year. Even if he has her blessing it would still be something on his mind.

I was thinking along those lines vs May and would have chosen May. Drew has often been in my top 4 every cycle so I would go Drew too but it is closer this time. Now if BS coached 5 years then become more of a GM/Basketball AD/Mentor to the next coach I would stay with Brad

I have gone to a game at Baylor when they and the opponent were both top 20 ranked. The game was on ESPN and the arena was half full. Right before tip the PA guy says "alright, everybody move on down" or something like that and the lower bowl was instantly full for the TV angles. I found it odd though that most of the people sitting up higher kept their coats on then when the PA guy said that and they all flocked down it seemed a regular occurrence. This was in 2011 when they went to the elite 8 so a very good team. I always thought he might look for a more passionate place at some point

I lived up in Valpo for a few years, one being the year Bryce hit the shot. Neat little oasis up in the almost "region". Was not uncommon to see Homer out and about in town. Stood and chatted with him once in a post office. I remember when Valpo played IU and there was some story about Knight and Homer getting together before or after the game to talk and it seemed they both really enjoyed the other.
