Won a B1G championship with Tim Priller on the roster. The 13th roster spot really doesn't mean anything as long as you have 9-10 guys capable of providing solid minutes. If he takes over Tim's spot, I think everyone would be happy that our 13th best scholly player is 6'10, can shoot, and moves like a wing. Now, if he is replacing one of the rotation players from this year, then yea that's likely a problem.

After watching 1 video, I'm buying into what BTOWN said. I do agree with everyone else that I hope he isn't our lone big, but I think everyone on here would be happy if we landed one of our 4/5 star bigs along with this guy. Ceiling could be very high for a guy his size that moves as well as he does and can shoot it.

There's a podcast from CBS sports Eye on College Basketball, where they discuss Ayton and Bagley. Basically, both have some possible issues that could come up in regards to NCAA eligibility.

(2018) SG Romeo Langford - INDIANA HOOSIERS
HoosierD replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Last measurements I saw listed him at 6'6. So he has the size of an NBA 2. He's more of a freak athlete than JBJ was and is much more of a complete player, rather than just a scorer. There's a reason he's top 5 in the country, as compared to JBJ being in the 20-25 range. It is possible that he's not a 1 and done, but that would be bc of his choice to stay, not because he wouldn't be drafted. -

Don't think he is sure fire one n done bc he doesn't want to be, or bc he doesn't fit the mold? -
I'm only seeing him on there twice. Looks to me like Newkirk for week 5. Either way, Juwan is the only guy to win multiple weeks.
-
Not positive, but I believe the coaching staff had some restrictions on phone calls already bc of the Oklahoma days.
-
Yea that was the story. They didn't find it until Duncan was already in college. Also asked Jeff Teague why he went to Wake and he said bc IU was in trouble at the time and Purdue didn't want him.

I agree that Cujo is not a likely starter and that there's a better chance of DD starting than Cujo. I like both coming off the bench. Any time you can bring talent like them off the bench, combined with an upperclassman in Newkirk, and a guy like Juwan that does all of the little things, you have everything you need from a bench. I like the idea of Cujo being an instant offense guy. Would be nice if either DD or Juwan could be a threat on the block while TB is out. I think the biggest void going into the season to me is not having shooters off the bench. After Cujo I think there are guys that can shoot it, but can they be consistent? Also, Collin needs to shoot it better this year.

Based off The Herald Times article, it sounds like Uncle Boo wanted him to come back. He said something along the lines of being old-school when it comes to staying or going early. Ultimately it was Troy's decision and he felt he was ready to move on. No doubt he would have helped out this team on the court if he wanted to be back. But if he didn't want to be here, then it wouldn't have been helpful for him to come back.
-
What I took from it was that it was after the season, when Troy began preparing for the draft. Dakich was saying even though he had put his name in the draft, he was still on the team and should have been acting like he was, but instead was doing his own thing.

(2020) G Brayton Bailey (Damon's son)
HoosierD replied to hoosierwhodey's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
That's one of the worst coaching jobs in the state bc of unrealistic expectations. Damon didn't want Hudson gone bc they are buddies, so I doubt he takes it. -
He wouldn't be one of the fastest, but he would be a big receiver and someone to throw it up to.
-
I would guess WR.

Scored 16 and had 8 assists against us last year. -
He's hit quite a few big shots, just missing the big game winner. At the same time, the two listed ahead of him haven't even hit the big shots he has hit. I'd put him #1 for that reason. There isn't another player in the big ten that has carried the load Yogi has to this point in their career, and he's carried that load for two years now.

Saw the clip you were talking about earlier today, definitely was there. Swear I'm not crazy tho, I saw another time they were standing next to each other and Towns looked 2 inches taller.
-
You mean shorter?
