BTN Plus games are likely just part of the TV deal and will always have a couple regular season games on there. As for the ESPN3 games, that's what scheduling Mississippi Valley State and Austin Peay gets you. If the cupcake games such as those two were replaced with some local mid major programs, then those games would be televised on ESPN or ESPN2.

I can't remember another recent recruitment like this one. Down to 3 schools, no immediate decision after the final official, no scheduled decision, each school's fans have "sources close to the situation" that say he's coming to their school. It's gotten very interesting and will make for an exciting decision.

On Hartman coming back, is this a gut feeling from what IU has released or have you heard from someone that he's likely back? I assumed it was season-ending with how Crean had talked up until the stationary shooting comments. Seems awfully soon to be shooting if it's a season-ending injury, but I'm not a knee doctor and I've never had knee surgeries.

Not sure if he is just being a troll or if he actually has inside info, but there's a guy by the name of Indy Orange on an Illinois board and he is saying Wilkes is for sure going to IU. Not making the folks there too happy, but it makes for a good laugh if you get the chance to read some of what has been said on there.

If we miss both Wilkes and Preston, I think that's where we go for a 5-star big that is eyeing a spring decision like Pap was saying the other day. IIRC, Pap was basically saying that we may have a shot at a guy like Bamba if we have all season to focus all of our resources on him.

Not a popular decision, but that is what college basketball has become. You just can't turn any of those 3 away. Not to mention, the movable (or transferable) pieces are there on the current roster.

Won a B1G championship with Tim Priller on the roster. The 13th roster spot really doesn't mean anything as long as you have 9-10 guys capable of providing solid minutes. If he takes over Tim's spot, I think everyone would be happy that our 13th best scholly player is 6'10, can shoot, and moves like a wing. Now, if he is replacing one of the rotation players from this year, then yea that's likely a problem.

After watching 1 video, I'm buying into what BTOWN said. I do agree with everyone else that I hope he isn't our lone big, but I think everyone on here would be happy if we landed one of our 4/5 star bigs along with this guy. Ceiling could be very high for a guy his size that moves as well as he does and can shoot it.

No, but in Dakich's defense the pro prep coach sounded like he was going to debate like a 3rd grader from the beginning of the segment.

There's a podcast from CBS sports Eye on College Basketball, where they discuss Ayton and Bagley. Basically, both have some possible issues that could come up in regards to NCAA eligibility.

Did he play bad this summer? I thought his stats looked good.

Last measurements I saw listed him at 6'6. So he has the size of an NBA 2. He's more of a freak athlete than JBJ was and is much more of a complete player, rather than just a scorer. There's a reason he's top 5 in the country, as compared to JBJ being in the 20-25 range. It is possible that he's not a 1 and done, but that would be bc of his choice to stay, not because he wouldn't be drafted.
