Ding ding ding. -
I really cant remember IU releasing a statement for an injury that wasn't season ending. I could be wrong.
-
As much crap as we give James, I really feel bad for the kid. What is that now? 2 ACL's, a meniscus, and this unknown one?
-
Yeah, I don't think thats what is happening here. When I was told about it I didn't think it was that serious. IU releasing a statement tells me otherwise... EDIT: This was a bad assumption on my part. 1) I didn't see the first half due to a group meeting so I hadn't even seen the play. 2) Re-reading the text "James banged up his knee again." didn't really alarm me when...3) I saw him playing in the second half and thought he exited the game because it was a blowout.

Obviously they're very hush hush about injuries so my info could be wrong, but I was told first half and I was told that Friday. And he didn't shoot the ball in the second half so it made sense. What Judson is saying could certainly be accurate and the truth. I think I'm going to try and rewatch it.

It happened early in the first half so deduct what you will from that... No one has...but this is just a reminder to please keep this about James, his current and future situation, and the team. Not the coach.

So i've been saying Newkirk is the problem with this team. No PG and Crean knows that but is forcing it. Green or Cujo needs to step up and kudos to Wayne for believing in Green. It may be on him -
Nevermind that, brother. Bad things are easier to obsess about.

Harbaugh was hardly back channels. That end had been coming as him and the front office disagreed to a massive degree. Those situations are very different. It's just my opinion that instability at this level can really lead to problems but that's up for debate. Recruiting and hiring. Does IU operate through back channels, idk honestly but I'd be hard pressed to believe they don't. I know two years ago they had a booster backcourt at a Celtics game but pretty hard to say what that meant, honestly. Ties through Indianapolis and businesss could be pretty innocent.

I mean, theoretically it could start at the bottom I'd imagine. Fan perception influences attendance, influences boosters, influences admin, influences AD. (or visa-versa on the last two) But there have been plenty of examples where a few boosters get fed up- and that group can be tight- and it goes from there... I don't have an accurate answer on how that would go at IU. I know I can't honestly say where those boosters are at now in supporting Crean but I certainly heard about it in 13-14, 14-15. So that says something
