  1. I fast-forwarded every second that didn't have Jakai or Kaleb on the court.
  2. I guess he played 2 years at Xavier before Akron/. Apparently he was the 2008 Gatorade player of the year in Pennsylvania.
  3. I guess he must not have been injured, or at least not too bad. He sat by himself, legs extended and was often rubbing his left leg the entire 2nd half last night. But, he played well today, so there ya go.
  4. Probably feel burnt by Kopp and Durr's performance and want to be extra diligent.
  5. Looks like Jakai got injured. Didn't play much, if at all, the 2nd half and was favoring his left upper leg.
  6. I think the problem is, they let those monsters manhandle you in the B1G, but they aren't allowed to in the ncaa.
  7. Perhaps not. I was responding to someone saying Leal was 13th so it doesn't matter, like any replacement would be slotted 13th. It doesn't have to work that way.
  8. Isn't he the kid whose doctor said could get to 6"10'?
  9. Little is a 2023, Thiero is 2022. May not have any influence
  10. You don't think Indiana could add a player from the portal or maybe Thiero or Foumena that could be better than the worst 5 on the team?
  11. The point would be to replace him with a NOT bottom 5 player, who actually is in the rotation.
  12. Indiana is the B1G bell weather. There may be occasional outliers, but when the B1G wins a title, it's usually because Indiana wins a title. B1G fortunes will change when Indiana gets back to our position.
  13. Can't be based on coming to IU or staying at IU.
  14. The NCAA policy is in an interim status while the NCAA works with Congress and states to come up with a national framework. The IU Athletics Name, Image and Likeness Policy will help guide and govern the NIL opportunities for Indiana University student-athletes beginning July 1, 2021. IU Athletics is among the first intercollegiate athletic departments to publicly announce a comprehensive NIL policy. Players can now be contacted directly to discuss agreements. The new policy encourages athletes to work with agents to find endorsements July 1st we introduced our policy. One of the 1st. People weren't being interviewed about if they liked NIL.
  15. The school can set up NIL directories or support consortiums, but the school can't (legally) lead players to opportunities or facilitate pay. And none of the payers can (legally) only be in place if a player attends IU for a set number of seasons. (like payout is so and so as long as you finish your Junior year) or if you sign an LOI you get this NIL benefit.
  16. NIL didn't start until 3 months after Fife's hire. I doubt many being interviewed at the time were given a deep dive into their NIL beliefs.
  17. depends on which 3 for me...
  18. I think it depends on what we are able to get at the 5, if TJD leaves. We needed at least 3 people to leave and probably if the right 2 more leave we can really improve the roster.
  19. It seemed to only cause a problem because Fife broke the rule, not because the rule was bad.
  20. By pure #'s only supposed to have 2 remaining. If neither get to elite 8, that's where the issue will first arise.
  21. You are correct, I missed Wiscy. Still, It's Indiana's turn.
  22. I think all 3 of those had 3 mickey D's players, with the B1G having zero.
  23. It has always been that way. INDIANA is the big ten, as far as accomplishments. in 1987 Indiana had 5 titles and the B1G had 2, then Michigan in '89, MSU in what 2000? Making it 5-4 Indiana, then Maryland beat Indiana for the title and once Maryland moved to B1G , that came with it and the rest of the conference became tied with Indiana 5-5. It's Indiana being down that has caused the B1G to have few titles. It always been that way and no evidence against it yet.
